Weren't you not going to buy one if it was slower than a inline 4 sportbike? From going by your past comments on youtube you care more for straight out speed and not if the bike is super nice handling when a track is technical and super twisty. Oh sorry I meant road not track, as you dont track race :P I think the v4 is not for you mate :P

I'm impressed with this reviewer, he has it together and provides a clearly understood narrative about technology and rider impressions. I don't think you can add anything more to this, he covers everything quite well. The bike has me totally intrigued, but unfortunately I stopped buying and upgrading Ducatis after I bought my 999R. I'm totally happy with the bike, but I would sure like to try out the modern electronics just for kicks.

Super nice coverage of the new Ducati Panigale V4, and super early too boot. :) I am very pleased to hear that Chris says that the new Duc is nimble and light when it gets to technical parts of the track. Super positive about hearing that :) Lets hope that Ducati will make a base model with 1000cc, so that we dont need to buy a super duper expensive and souped up V4-R Panigale if we simply want to race it too!

Pillokun i think Ducati make somthing what others also will do.I meen just 30 Years Ducati puts Special Models of each Model they have made.And Today al Conpanies do the same with Special Models.also the Fact with a two Model of Suoerbikes one for using for the Track and Street and on the other Side a R Version for Championchip when you wont realy race you just have allmost a Rady Bike for the Track without any Compromise.Yes tge R Model cost a lot of Money but eaven a Honda SP2 is not that Cheap and if you wont Race with the big Guys you have to spend Money than dosennt maderrs if you buy a Honda Sp2 or a Panigale on bouth you have spend Money for serious Race.

Mm, but a base model in this caliber/segment is often more then enough, at least for club racers. Even the oldest of oldest superbikes would suffice if the rider is good enough. But we still have to adhere to racing regulations such as max capacity. It really is a shame that we cant race a base Panigale V4 as it not conforming with the regulations. A base Panigale V4 but with 1000cc would be so appreciated I think, at least for us that want to race a duc like we could use in the past without getting the most expensive version :)

Pillokun what speaks against it to take a Base Model 1100ccm and go on Track for A rider ho wont to go on Track it dosennt maderrs.The 1000ccm you only need if you go on International Championschip and to bee Compatiblle you need the best Material.

mm, but I and plenty of others cant race in a series when the bike is over 1100cc and it has 4 cyl. The regulation of a series is often closely tied to national and international series. So for a happy amateur who wants to race from time to time on a Panigale v4 cant as he has to pay up say probably 50% more to get the top of the line version.

Interesting about the quick shifter, I found I missed gears in the same way on their Super Sport but on the 959 no issues at all. Mind you I’m pretty sure the Super Sport quick shifter is quite different to the Panigale so who knows? I don’t think the stock exhaust system is as nice as the out going Panigale.

Frank Hughes not only on way Ducati has just testing the new r Model against the actually SBK Bikes.This is crazy nobody wold doing this with a Bike ho is brand new.And the Times are fucking close to the Rea😎i mean Ducati has more than a Year to make the V4 r absolutlley perfect and than take the Titel.Yes one Championschip this Year for Kawasaki but 2019 the v4 r Will destroy everybody on way no doubt😎
