It is worse but I only use them on the way to the canyons and can see blind spots and behind with the raise of my arm.

Are you sure you got the 18-21 windscreen thats what is linked… I want the tallest one possible and it seems the “older years” are taller than newer ones but you linked an older model if that fits Im supper okay with getting it since its taller. Please confirm you bought the same one you linked.

I was cracking up when you said the rubber piece reduces vibration. Imagine if they made one that worked or if it didn't have that rubber piece. Now onto your new mirrors. They are stunning! Awesome upgrade and gives the bike a more aggressive look. I've seen them in person and it is perfect on a V4. Would love to hear your feedback on how well the visibility while riding.

Hahah well technically they put them there for that reason even though we know they never work. Even with the stock mirrors they were shakey haha. So I've used these on my previous R1 as well. I dont use my mirrors ever unless I am on city streets or the highway, so I'll flip them up then. Once I'm in the canyons and twisties they are down. No distractions always look forward. To see behind you, you do have to raise your arm but it works fine for blind spots if you want to use them.

I have them on my V4S. They work enough to at the very least see who's behind you when its most important. the oem mirrors on these bikes absolutely horrible.

Gorgeous bike. Waiting for my 2023 V4 S to come in. What do you think about installing frame sliders and wheel bump protectors. Are they really worth it or will do more harm than good? I am gonna be doing MotoJitsu parking lot drills and I can’t make up my mind on those.

I dont like frame sliders on this bike. The only ones I've seen really go over the cluctch palte and arent sturdy at all. I wish they had better options but the fairings cover a lot of the frame bolts.

I have the same bike and ordered the same exhaust. The connector pipe from the left silencer won’t fit over the pipe for the header. Did you have any issues with that?

very nice. you do not need the oem rubber seal with these mirrors. the rizoma's come with a felt adhesive gasket in the bottom of the box. I have zero vibration with them unlike the horrible OEM mirrors.

How has the bike been running with the termi slip on and T800 upmap? Any stalling issues at lower speeds or stoplights?

Yep. Termi's maps for this bike are not great at this time. I had idle issues too. They worked out a little bit after time but only when the bike warmed up.

Poor customer service, rude emails, overpriced, and after dynoing their results locally, they could have done a lot better job with the flash for the R1 which they have been flashing for years. Once again, this is my experience, maybe staff has changed and their operation has changed. At the time that was my experience and things might have improved. Constructive Criticism lets call it.

Awesome looking bike. Those stealth mirrors look nice cos they do look like extra downforce wings, but the price and usefulness are zero points for me, their function as mirrors is absolutely a waste of time and money. To rely on the slither of a mirror like that is a little pointless. I'm happy to ride without mirrors

In my opinion not at all. I can see behind me and my blind spots. Yes, its not as big of a picture as a normal mirror but I never had any issues with visibility.
