Only person in the world to have done a Superleggera vs H2R on the street. Thank you very much for that. Couple things I noticed....at the end you could clearly see the SL did not have any traction left and you we’re definitely getting comfortable in the saddle of the H2R. I think once the SL gets a new tire and your fully comfortable on the H2R that will be awesome to see. Can’t wait till round 2!

@@biker742 i love the h2r as much if not more than you do but the fact is the superleggera is a hand crafted, hand molded, performance spect, beast of craftsmanship, its lighter quicker has more computer controlls, a way better power to weight ratio, so at the end of the day the only thing that would have effected the race was the ducati rider being better and showing how good that bike actually is because hes definetly holding it back a little bit, there are few riders who can actually get that bike to full performance wihought the computer cotrolls limiting something.

Add lightness. Chris Moore street raced a highly modified H2, blew it away. What was Chris using? GSX-R1000 with a lot of weight reduced, stretched (so was the H2), gearing, carbon fiber, tuning, all the usual and some engine work. Just left that "supercharged" and highly modified H2 for dead. To be fair, the H2 was spinning and struggling for traction, but it wasn't a dusty or wet day either. You can have a heap of power and if your machine is heavy, if you are a wide/large rider, if your aero stinks, if you can't put the power down, if you don't have proper gearing to suit your goal...... you're simply slower.

HR2 shouldn't really be compared to bikes that are naturally asperated, that supercharger is a huge advantage. Just think if Ducati came out with a SL that had a supercharger on it with it already making 230+ hp naturally. Be wild as hell!

Another keyboard warrior that's knows nothing, you guy think you can just bolt a supercharger to a superleggera lol let me explain so you can learn something, you cant just bolt a supercharger to an engine running 13:1 compression it won't work , so you lower the compression on the Ducati to 8:5 change the cams cylinder head to suit forced induction it looses 50 plus HP , you then bolt the supercharger on it and guess what it makes about the same as the H2!

These riders, at least JacBeQuic, need more seat time; they're just learning these bikes, it looks like, but that's unavoidable. Maybe the owners, after some time, can give us a real, fair comparison. I'd like to see 650ib and Slim Thug run these two; unfortunately, they don't own such. Still, a very interesting video; that H2R top-end is a rocket ship. And that Superleggera is a diamond with endless facets.

make a test on a track, the Ducati will beat the H2R without any problems, i'm Swiss, believe me, we have alot of mountain pass, the Ducati is extremely fast in this short acceleration and re acceleration after the corner!

I think with perfect start the H2R will run away from that Ducati H2R kept popping wheelies in 4th and he even short shifted but this kept wheeling H2R has done 1/4 mile in 9.4 seconds @170 mph Ducati sits at 9.7 9.6 Back then Ducati panigali 1299 did 1/4 mile in 9.7 seconds I think this V4 Superleggera can definitely run 9.6 or 9.5

The swingarm on the Duc is like 25-30K all by itself. Shits alllll carbon fiber. Like ever where they could get away with it. 8:10 H2R finds legs and stomps pretty red Italian thing. Love the Ducatis but damn long enough drag race, can’t compete. Throw a few curves in there, the Duc wins.
