ABOUT ME:
I am by no means a Chef, but food and cooking have always been a very important part of my life. When I was a kid, my parents were owning a street food stall and right after school, I was always running there to help them cook and serve the customers.
I have also learned a loooot with my granny, who taught me how to cook traditional Thai food since... well, since forever I believe!

And you, how do you like to eat your eggs ? Soft boiled, hard boiled ? Fried or as an omelette ? 👇👇

Big fan of poached eggs. On toast, with bacon, eggs Benedict basically. Or Florentine, because I love spinach and can pretend I'm being healthy.

I like Florentine too! And there is nothing like pretending to be healthy. Spinach is vegetable, vegetable is healthy, so it's all good 😝

Thank you for this recipe, this will be the first time trying duck eggs, I can’t usually get them but cheerily, my neighbour has given me a couple. I love soft boil chook eggs with soldiers, ie soft boil chicken eggs with buttered toast cut into strips (soldiers) for dipping into the egg. I am hoping the duck egg will be a much larger size with similar taste.i think I will give your recipe a try if I can get my hands on more duck eggs or make a single egg version. Cheers from Australia. 🐨

I have ducks, and I love their eggs but I never tried it like that. I like them soft boiled, hard boiled, over easy, scrambled, and made into deviled eggs. But that recipe looks great! I'm going to try it. Thank you both for keeping up with your wonderful videos!

I understand it’s an American expression but I’ve never understood what over easy means in relation to cooking eggs? We don’t have that term in Australia.

Ah too bad you can't find duck eggs because it's so good! 😊 Thank you for your kind words and what do you mean by 'Farang Lao' ? I know Farang but Lao I'm not sure.

@@NinisCooking My Friends from Thailand made fun with me and called me so because I love Thai food so much and can eat hot raw chili and know some Thai words. Lao means the country in the east of Thailand. Maybe is an eastern Thai expression more commonly used in Udon Thani or Sakon Nakhon. They mean with it farang assimilated in Thailand, but with a wink of an eye.
@NinisCooking
@NinisCooking 4 жыл бұрын
@@ghlscitel6714 😂 Ok then that makes sense. And that's funny as well 😂 I didn't know the joke so maybe it indeed is more a joke or expression from Issan. But then somehow yes, Cy is a 'Farang Lao' then, he can eat quite spicy 😊

The york egg is bigger on duck egg than chicken, and the white part has more texture. And also the duck egg is a bit more difficult to find, so it has to be better!! 😜
