A refreshing reminder that the best hunting experience is had with 2 keen waterfowlers. It's how I started and continued to hunt for 40 years. Nowadays it's more common to have 4 to 8 hunters per group and obviously its based on fields and/or outfitters but it's less fun to me. With 2 you can share shots, especially on singles and get to know your gun and shooting form much better. Thanks for the great videos.

Handful of Goldy dekes on the outside edge usually gets them in.....somewhat closer anyways!!! Definitely a long grind for that limit....nice hunt!!!!

I find goldeneyes only like to land with goldeneye decoys they flair off a lot more off other decoys. And if you’re running them with other decoys try to separate them ! Love the videos keep on grindin!

Do you use heavy shot? Bismuth? Is it worth the cost? Thanks again for the replies! Goes a long way. I’ve tried two, three foot and longer leads. I see my pattern hit the water behind. Unbelievable. I do not use either of those! I usually shoot federal blue box or whatever i can get my hands on. This video I was using apex s3 steel that Collin let me borrow. I always run a modified! Happy thanksgiving brotha! 👊

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been trying to get things figured out with shot, barrel and choke all season. I’ve had jams too that I think I figured out to be a cleaning solution. My last duck hunt was shooting at divers. Frustrating because when I did knock some down they were crippled. I couldn’t finish them off either. Shot all around them but not a kill. Even over closer decoys. I was using 3” number 2 Winchester steel shot which seemed to be a better pattern watching it hit the water but I still couldn’t get a definite kill that I’ve watched others on KZbin do. Where would you go from here? My gun is a super black eagle 12 gauge with 28” barrel and modified improved choke. I was thinking about a longer barrel with one of those patten master chokes. Maybe some of that heavy shot? Thanks for the reply.
