i think duck has become my new favorite for the same reason i’ve loved red since the original. he’s slightly self aware, and he doesn’t just stupidly go along with everything all the time. For instance, in the original, duck would’ve never left the family. (also a reason i loved yellow guy even more than i already did by the end of the series. he could be the smartest of all of them, and even be their escape)

Also I just realized Duck's voice doesn't get autotuned until the electricity episode. Either this is just a funny callback or due to the fact it is only noticeable with he's upset, duck becomes autotuned when upset. Red guy was my fav in the original. But in this season they really developed Duck quite a lot and he became my new fav. I love this eccentric dramatic little duck and how he really has his own head. The work episode is what made him my fav: Him questioning what everyone does and refusing to become a mindless worker bee for some soulless corporation. I knew from that point on that Duck would have a more distinct character compared to the original in which Red Guy really overshadowed the other puppets
