I was born in abilene,tx in 1973 but I call NC my home,. My papa was a Sunday school teacher at Trinity Church there for 40yrs I knew the Kennedy's when I went there we would visit them during the summers. My papa would visit the kids Sat evenings and pick up any kids that would need a ride to and from church then take them to a&w for lunch or to dairy queen, he loved that very much. He is why I teach kids now at my church for the last 10 yrs and have a big heart for God. Thank you for all you do in the name of Jesus.

Jess, you are my people! My wife makes me batty, watching all the ""crime solving" murder stuff, and can't understand my frustration that she tends to see the darker side of life. I like watching DD episodes (I can probably follow the dialog on 90 % or more), also the great series from around the same era (Dirty Jobs, MythBusters), and one a bit earlier - NORTHERN EXPOSURE!

I spent 12 years as a Combat Engineer in the Army and I am a Combat Veteran, twice over….There are plenty of other Elite Warriors within the Department of Defense…besides Navy Seals!! But the reason yall are not as aware of their existence and capabilities is because they take Pride in being known as QUIET Professionals…75th Ranger Regiment; Army Special Forces(Green Berets); Delta Force Detachment; 24th Special Tactics Squadron, U.S. Air Force; Marine Amphibious Reconnaissance; Marine Raiders….just to name a few. It’s true that Navy Seals are Elite and I am grateful for their Service! However, it’s a big bunch of BullButter that these other very Special Operators are almost Never Mentioned!! Thanks for y’all’s Patriotism! Sappers In The Breach!!
