Several years ago we were putting out decoys in northern Indiana and I always used a but spotlight and put it in the front of the boat facing up. We had a flight of wood ducks start coming out of the west that lasted 10 or 15 minutes way before legal hours. Just guessing had to be in the thousands. I couldn’t figure where they all were going because we didn’t see but a few that morning. Definitely a cool experience.
