Duckweed Salad

My first self-attempt to eat an aquarium plant. Duckweed is considered to be very high in protein. So let's see how it tastes

You gotta boil it in two changes of water with wood ash to remove calcium oxalate crystals

I think duckweed doesn't have it , but other common floating plNt has it

@@dicephalous9076 Duck weed is in the Araceae family, it is an aroid and all aroids have calcium oxalate in them.

I boil them with vinegar and it gets rid of the calcium oxalate so it doesn't burn my throat.

Duckweed is packed with nutrients! It's basically a superfood. Perfect for vegans and ppl who wants to reduce their animal protein intake.

You can get it at some fish stores and it grows pretty quickly and easily
