Awesome! Going to give this a try! A quick tip to return the favour, if you fold your plastic over the paste and use a roller you will get a even layer with less mess than the card/spatula method

Love how much care you put into their food, I use dried mealworms and algae powdered in Nutri-bullet then made into paste balls. My shrimp feed my fish who feed my lizards. They're fascinating creatures.

At least in the US, organic certified greens can still have pesticides applied that are dangerous for shrimp (like copper). So be sure they're labelled as "fully washed" or give them a good wash before drying.

I started DIY food few years back, learned a lot from mark and soo. With time it got me to specific formulations based on objective feeding like growth, vitality, digestive aid, molting aid. Using only ingredients like spirulina, Chlorela, blood worms ... I have a list of those... without any additives, i was able to analyze it and get exact proportions of elements. However i preferred to keep it powder form for several reasons, mainly to be able to micro dose, and to be able to use it as supplements when necessary on top of regular shrimp food, and many other reasons...

You can also buy organic powder greens online. I get alfalfa, spirulina, and kelp. There is also barley green powder and mix greens.
@BushLieWorldDie2 ай бұрын
Whats the mineral powder. You give the mineral powder each time you feed them . I Was thinking the food itself should have some minerals. Many use spinach dont it contain oxalic acid? I Heard many used corn husk but seems soy beans fills out that part.
@jonisolis964511 ай бұрын
You can also dry it in the refrigerator. Works great. I make my own DIY fish food which I give to all my fish and shrimps too.

Hi, my shrimp almost never eat the added food (they eat the food in the tank), is this normal? Thanks for the video and the advice.

Yes if you don't have many shrimps in the tank they have enough natural food around and they might don't eat the food you give to them

mironekuton ? How do u use it ? Does it change PH of Water or change waterparameters ? And which shrimp tanks do u add it to ? Do u add mironekuton straight into tank or only in shrimp food ? Keep up the good Word 👍🏻 greetings from Denmark
@ShrimpMania2 жыл бұрын
You can add it directly into the tank, small amount once a week. You can also add it into the food like I did in this video

Do u see any change in pH after u add mironekuton ?
@ShrimpMania2 жыл бұрын
I haven't noticed any changes in pH if be honest after I add mironekuton powder
@nilskoch50982 жыл бұрын
Cool, is there more different Minerals in mironekuton than salty shrimp gh+ ? Im abit confused about Minerals, gh, and effect on PH 😅
@ShrimpMania2 жыл бұрын
@@nilskoch5098 mironekuton is just supplement minerals for shrimps and bacteria in the tank. Salty shrimp Gh+ are Ca and Mg salts to remineralise ro water prior water change to create ideal general hardness of the water to mimic the water for shrimps in nature
