Better idea: buy a keyboard thats RGB adressable and use OpenRGB! One piece of software to controll ALL your RGB!, and I believe it does Macros as well...

I guess it adds more complexity and cost to maintain. There could be maybe already a software out there (maybe the one @HighWireken mentioned) that already does the necessary, haven't checked.

hey how did you get a ducky in the azerty loadout. I can not seem to find a ducky mini in azerty system instead of the qwerty one

Ducky, like Razer, doesn't make Azerty keyboards by default. They do make them in special orders, so for the French market they make it (like the layout in the video), and for the Belgium market there's a few local computer shops that work with Ducky to make the Belgian Azerty Layout...

Youll get it in the French market, online resellers like LDLC have them but they don't ship outside France.

Hey, I would like to get my number keys to be the default keys so I don't have to press shift to use them. Do you have any clue how to do this?

There are mapping software that exist that can do that very easily. You have hotkey on windows and under linux xmodmap.

Hey there. Not sure i fully understand your question. You can have only one color for all keys or also completely disable all black lighting (all key lights).

@@Thebossreserve FN + F10 to cycle through the different modes, mode 9 (or 10?) is backlight only, once in that mode hit FN + Spacebar (this will display all possible colors over your keyboard), hit the color you like and voila: backlit keyboard in the color of your choice :)

Thanks for reviewing the part that most skip - the firmware. It looks very gimmicky and overdesigned. I understand the motivation behind softwareless approach, but I think this could be done better. They could also just add support for OpenRGB and QMK/VIA and call it a day. Most disappointing part is where the most useless keys like SCROLL LOCK and PAUSE BREAK can't be remapped, because firmware uses them.

no, keyboard software is just bloat. what do you need software for? you set it up once and are done with it for years.

​@@dweee3450 its all a matter of opinion. I'm with op on this one, seems like they could easily have the best of both worlds and just add openRGB support. Do you not see the irony in saying "what do you need software for" then following it up with "set it up once and are done for years"? Software allows people to do that in 30 seconds whereas the softwareless approach has a learning curve and takes time adjusting to for new users. From a business standpoint it makes sense, these are luxury keyboards and they need something to set them apart from a layman's keyboard to allow the customer to feel superior so they feel justified in paying the higher price. Personally the cool switches and higher build quality are enough for me to feel special but I can understand why you might enjoy the slightly more complicated approach to customization.

True. I haven't checked but maybe there's some open source software that does support this keyboard. I'll reach out to ducky and ask them. I'll update here if i get an answer.
