Haha! So I just bought a brand new 2018 Mojave sand power wagon and you guys touched on the 2 things I said that could be better. Exhaust and tires! Don't get me wrong I absolutely love my wagon but those are the two things I'd like to change about mine. Great video guys.

I appreciate a good sounding truck as much as anyone. My last 4wd truck was a GMC HD with the 6.0 V8. It had headers and custom exhaust on it and sounded wonderful. However as the years and multiple hunting trips past I grew tired of it. Especially when crawling up a mountain before dawn on opening day. One of the things I love about my Power Wagon is how quiet it is.

Love my 2018 Power Wagon! It's like having a giant Rubicon!!!! I also deleted the stock exhaust and put flowmaster duels, also had a custom 8 inch BDS lift, was running 40s with a slight rub but changed to 38x15.5x20 and no issues at all!

I love me a PW. We got ours last May and since then we've gone places we simply couldn't go in our previous factory 1500. It's just an awesome truck. I love that muffler delete.

Love the powerwagon 6.4! Absolutely love it! My dream truck is a black 2016 powerwagon with the flames or what ever things are on the sides with a level and 35s! With the big touch screen on it. because it’s so quiet, chopping it and having no muffler and nothin in its place, my dream right there. The things I would do for that!

I was trying to figure out how he's had a '17 for 3 years, then I realized I guess we're talking about two different trucks lol. That sounds neat, but maybe a bit too loud for me. Could also just be the cold start because mine is also pretty damn loud on startup. I put a magnaflow 14 inch on mine and deleted the resonator and it sounds perfect.

So far, I'm really loving my '16 PW. I do a bit over 3k miles a year off-road to my house. The Dmax front end was shot at 110k. Going to look into that lightbar mount. So far I've put 35's, AEV snorkel and White Knuckles. (Those suckers are heavy) Next up, replace the ARE shell with a Phoenix pop-up camper. 😀

I show fitting 37s on a stock power Wagon on my channel , they fit but rub and you forsure aren't off-roading unless you lift it like I did

IWrocker Ive seen some guys with some success with just a level, but idk. Might just be "small" 37's, and also concerned about clearance when flexed. I may try it on my next set, haven't decided yet.

Tfl, Ford's 3.5l TT is a licensed GM Vortec v6, reverse engineered by Ford and made infinitely more powerful. More American than Duramax/Izuzu. That Power Wagon is beastly. Also agree with replacing the quiet exhaust.

How is it people don't realize the reason the PW has the tires it has is so it fits in a normal garage. I know if my PW was much higher it would hit the garage entrance. I have maybe 2" of clearance. My choice for improvement would be better headlights and foglights.

Right. Talk about pavement princess to look cool. Honestly payload and towing is low on the power wagon. Payload is like 1100 pounds i think and can only tow 10,000 lbs.

Love this truck! However, why can't they squeeze more hp and torque out of that massive 6.4L? 410hp and 429lb ft. torque seems low for a 7000lb truck. Nothing a supercharger can't fix I suspect :) Great job Roman and Nathan, I love watching your reviews.

According to RAM, by de-tuning the engine from 485/485 to 410/429 gives more down low torque and a better torque spread over the entire bandwidth. If you find that you don't need the down low torque very often, I'm sure you could procure a simple tuner and return it to its original power output.

Matt Lane I mean that the TFL group in the past has been notorious for being biased against GM products. So it would only make sense that they'd bring on people to showcase that GM is an inferior brand. I agree the GM 5.3 and their 6.0 gas engines are bulletproof engines and are hard working engines for sure. If I were to buy a fleet of work trucks they'd be chevy half tons with the 5.3. Wouldn't have to worry about them at all.

nathan adlen You have 1 Chevrolet vehicle you liked and the only reason is because it's the only vehicle that's not a toyota in the mid sized truck category that's worth a look and cuz it comes with a diesel. If ford came out with the ranger for 2017 and offered it with a diesel you would've gotten a boner driving it. The gold hitch award is the best example of why you're biased. The chevy 5.3 had brake applications going down the hill towing. You do the same with the ford. When it comes to the scoring you rate the chevy a 16 out of 25 because of too many brake applications. Ford ecoshit had the same and you guys rated it miles better. Why? Cuz it's a Ford. Duh. GMs 1 ton handled the 20x thousand lbs (forget the exact number like 23 thousand pound load or something) better than the powerjoke and the cummins and you ragged on the chevy the entire time and awarded the cummins the best engine probably only because it boasts the class leading towing capability. In vehicles that have had the same exact flaws or problems you've set aside on ford's or dodges and chastised Chevrolet for it. Everyone sees how biased you are that's all anyone talks about. Other truck KZbinrs and people in the comments sections of every one of your videos. And I'm not even a chevy guy I own a 2016 tundra! Which I thought was also kind of dumb to review a TRD off road in a towing segment. I know you can only take what the manufacturers or local dealers give you but cmon dude... apples to apples. Stop freaking out over ford's marketing strategies and start reviewing the trucks themselves! If chevys 6.0 3/4 ton broke down before the Ike gauntlet you guys would still be bringing it up in every truck video you made. Ford's 6.2 shits the bed and you guys do another review and talk all good things about it. No chastising. No making fun. No mention of it after the fact. Pretty funny.

Good Luck Getting that price in 2022😂😂 I just Ordered My 2022 Power Wagon on June 8th 2021 and I got a Middle of the line PW with a Level 2 Group Package, Bed Group, 4X4 Package, Dual Alternators and it was $61K before taxes and Registration and fees which out the door came out to $66,900.. and that was after My Supplier Discount which knocked $6K off..🤦🏻‍♂️😂👍🏻

I'd be happy with just a stock Power Wagon. That is the dream. But I thinking that for a daily driver, would my current Ram 1500 be enough for me? The sensible side of me says "Yes". I could always turn the 1500 into an AEV Recruit or the ultimate Rebel, but the other side of me really wants a PW. What I want to know is after owning a PW for a while, can anyone give me an idea what it is like to live with as a daily driver? Keep in mind that my offroading is only on the weekend and I would be mostly on the highway during the weekdays.

No winch, locker or those tires but it has the 4.11 gears and the most I have gotten highway is about 390 miles.. He's pushing those bigger tires and a bit more weight, so no way.

Ok Im going to do as quickly as I can (bare in mind I don't hate the tundra, but the power wagon is in a different class) the tundra is lower to the ground has more street oriented tires it's basically a tundra with upgraded shocks giving it a slight lift over a stock one but it is a 1500 class truck the power wagon is a heavy duty truck beefier frame, axels and suspension it has locking front and rear differentials with disconnecting front sway bar for more articulation over rocks. also better quality? I don't know about you but I've been in a 2017 tundra and it has some soft touch materials but the seats are not that comfortable and the plastic pieces and trim inside the truck look and feel REALLY plastic it reminds me of vehicles from the mid 2000's where everything had a faded metal look that just ended up looking like plastic that was spray painted and that is exactly what the tacoma and tundra interior is like, the "infotainment" is actually garbage it's slow and looks like the infotainment out of a 2009 corvette and that thing was terrible FCA is well known to have the best infotainment in the business and it really shows when you downgrade and try what toyota has at least chevrolet, ram and ford make the plastic interior pieces not stick out and say "look how plastic I am" like the toyotas and the attention to detail? what attention? it is a basic design that is very old and has aged poorly in my opinion the exterior Im absolutely fine with the truck looks nice enough but the interior you can honestly say is better than what chevrolet ford or ram has to offer because it just isn't and the "minus repairs that plague the majority of american cars" statement is just a generalization and you can't use that for every american vehicle not to mention toyotas do not sell nearly as many trucks so the sheer number of problems looks like more than what the percentage really is because they just have more trucks rolling around than toyota but if I was going by the logic that american cars are plagued with problems I would say that Japanese cars should stick to econoboxes and not trucks because they don't make a real top truck they make a truck that is always just kinda there it's never class leading and they don't reinvent anything they just play catch up to the big three but never actually really catch up. If you like the tundra that is fine but don't try to say it's better than a power wagon because they are two different classes and couldn't be further from each other. wow this became a long rant and I could go on and on I do not understand what people love about toyota trucks they are never the best at anything the tacoma was the best offroad midsize but now the zr2 is out and better with locking diff so now the tacoma isn't even best at something anymore I mean I guess you might argue the reliability but honestly all of the major trucks are pretty reliable so It's not like one just literally always breaks down if they did they wouldn't sell any trucks period. The tundra inside and out can be summed up like this pretty much "the 2018 tundra, it's a 2007 truck that you can buy in 2018 to argue it's not dated and will run for a million miles"

Dodge died when Fiat bought the automaker. Hopefully the Chinese automaker who's bidding on Crysler will buy it and rebuild the company and bring back Dodge to where it should be. And GM is supposed to buy the Jeep brand. They'll fix up those vehicles too.

Another ignorant statement. Chrysler was in bankruptcy before fiat. Mercedes destroyed that company. They are responsible for watering down the jeep brand with front wheel drive junk. They systematically cheaped out the 300m series year after year. While some architecture came from than German junk company giving us a rear wheel drive platform, I still say that partnership screwed Chrysler While fiat isn't perfect it's a way better partnership. And ps Mopar cars don't need any 'fixing' that no other car company needs. All build junk All build great cars
