Fun fact: Sisyphus was so fast that he actually caused a design change. Parrying didn't used to regenerate stamina, but in order to push Sisyphus's attacks to be even faster, they changed it so you could fill up your stamina by parrying, letting bosses attack faster because the player could always get more stamina from parrying.

@Bluue49 yea, he's definitely one of the more weirder enemies to parry. you gotta get up close and personal with em. Also a thing that helped me out was noticing that most of the time, he'll first lunge at you with an unparryable attack (blue flash) then the next attack he throws you can parry. Hope that helps 👍🏾

since im bored imma bestow you my knowledge on this game so u can prepare for the next two layers almost all enemies attacks are parriable, to know if an attack is parriable you'd have to see if it shines a yellow sparkle before the attack is initiated, if the sparkle is blue then its unparriable. you can gain incredible amounts of speed by pressing the jump and groundslam key at the same time while on a wall (you'll know when you've done it when yellow vertical lines appear.) after that quickly jump or jump-slide to fly around crazy. lastly, the srs cannon can be used to instakill Andre and the sentries by charging it up, (this part is a bit tricky) use the whiplash to pull yourself near them and once you reach upclose to them, quickly launch and parry the cannon ball at the same time. (note: this only works when you time it right) its best to test these mechanics in the sandbox mode. hope this can be useful 🔥

I always found fighting sisyphus a lot easier if you think of the fight as a boxing match against someone with a reach advantage. Most of his moves damn near beg you to run away but after it finally clicked how much I could take advantage of his aggression and dodge inwards towards him it became a whole new fight. Easily one of the most rewarding bosses to beat ever made imo.

My first P-2 completion had 227 restarts, 97 min. On standard. Eventually I challenged myself to P rank it for completion's sake, and learned about 4 different techs to make it easier (cerb instakill, 2 maurice instakills, rocket riding. Still took me a week. Learning to deadcoin now to p rank it on brutal in a decent time. Also fun fact, sisyphus and minos both have a 'stamina' mechanic for their special moves. Sisyphus' 'nice try' move is just a taunt, and _costs_ him 1 stamina

Here is a tip for you: You see the terminal ranking on enemies? That is a good hint for targeting what enemies first to make things easier. Suprime first them Greater Then lesser, use the lesser or greater enemies for healings agaist suprime or other.

Hello welcome to another session of me yapping! Tenebre Rosso Sangue (the one that plays during the starting gauntlet) is easily my favourite soundtrack of the game, the intensity, the feeling it gives you, it is just chef's kiss. Keygen Church did such a good job with this one. It honestly feels kind of disrespectful that my favourite soundtrack is not even by Hatika himself lmao. Anyways here's some tips for P-2... in case you change your mind on P-Ranking the Prime Sanctums. 1. The Electric Railcannon can actually easily deal with Virtues as it oneshots them and it can pierce enemies, meaning that if you line them up perfectly you can kill 2 in a split second. Kinda hurt to see it unequipped lol. Alternatively, a point-blank overpumped Pump-Charge Shotgun can kill one in one hit. 2. Keeping the Screwdriver drill in Mindflayers prevents them from teleporting. I'd advise to keep the Screwdriver in enemies for longer in general as Drill Breaking does remove some of its healing capabilities. 3. A saw trap + nuke (Core Eject + Malicious Railcannon) can easily heavily damage the Cerberi in the "Weezer Room". 4. Sentries are top priority on every room except the blood tunnels as they force you to keep an eye on them, which you won't be able to due to how much is going on. 5. A rebounded S.R.S. Cannon cannonball can instantly kill a Cerberus. This can be really useful is that tiny hallway with a Cerb and a Streetcleaner (+ that_one_mindflayer.exe) 6. The Sisyphean Insurrectionists can be baited into jumping into blood by standing on one of the walls on the sides, instantly killing them. 7. For the first blood tunnel, since enemies instantly die if they touch the blood, a nuke (Core Eject + Malicious Railcannon) can easily knock the Virtues into it. Then, of course, kill the Sentry and then the Malicious Faces. 8. For the second tunnel, there's an interesting strategy. You want to kill the Malicious Face first, as it creates a shockwave that knocks the Sentries upwards, causing them to touch the blood and die. Then, normally kill one of the Cerberi and let the other one dash to its death (Enraged Cerberi can dash off platforms) 9. While you're unable to heal when enemies are sanded, you can definitely heal from parries. Can be really life saving at times. 10. Yes, you can parry the Mortar Projectiles coming out of Hideous Masses and the Flesh Panopticon. 11. Sliding is a really good way to evade most of Sisyphus Prime's attacks. Against aggresive bosses like Minos and Sisyphus, it's important to preserve stamina in case really really needed. 12. I'm gonna do a quick description of all of Sisyphus' attacks and their counters: "Be gone!", he creates a vertical shockwave. Can be parried but it doesn't stop the shockwave on Violent+ so I'd only recommend parrying it in desperate situations. "You can't escape", does 4 combo attack. Sliding is the best way to dodge the attack. The final attack is parriable but it also creates a horizontal shockwave. Parry it and immediately jump. "Destroy", an uppercut that leads into a projectile that explodes. You can parry the attack but he will still throw it on Violent+. Parrying isn't recommended. "This will hurt", the easiest attack to counter. Just parry it, it will cancel the explosion. The other two attacks do not have a voiceline but they really only boil down to dodging them. 13. Ground slamming can get you on the ground significantly quicker than just waiting for gravity to kick in. I think that's all I have for now. I was gonna make a joke similar to "You know that friendship you were starting to develop with Andre? Yeah, throw that out of the window." but I really didn't want to spoil anything. I'm sure people have already spoiled some stuff tho. Uhhhh that should be all, I was typing so much I forgot what else I wanted to type.

Get in the habit of cancelling your whiplash by pressing the whip key again, it's not always better but you'll retain your momentum and won't take as much hard damage making it better if you want to heal also it build up red speed for the hammer if you ever want to try it again

Man, you did better than most ppl who played this shit, better than me, it took me around 450 attempts in total with 5+ hours through days of just TRYING to beat the level. If anything, I could P-Rank that shit, I bet you can also do that without much trouble. Different as I did, which took me around 30-50 hours of pure pain (Although in my defense: Sisyphus got nerfed in later updates, I couldn't rely on parries during the second phase, the nerfed version Sisyphus was relatively ez).
