People don’t seem to fully understand what the Isaiah 53 healing blood sacrifice of Jesus saves from. Jesus is the light, without him there is darkness. Although that more simple message was enough to recently save my dad. He had a hard time believing he was a sinner. If I told you the kind of life he lived you would wonder how he could deny it. He found someone worse than him to compare himself to and that was people who mass murder children that’s how low he had to set the the bar. Finally, I actually had to call out his sin and tell him I forgave him but now he needs to admit he is wrong to God and accept that only Jesus is good enough to restore what he lost by that sin. It wasn’t a way I had ever heard anyone say it, but I asked him where was his, “I’m sorry” to God? Where was his “help me live and grow in you?” He got mad at me but two weeks later he realized he was an awful sinner and he had forgiveness and should turn to God and trust Jesus for the help he knows he needs.

Wow! This is truly amazing and inspiring as a Christian myself. We shouldn’t be ashamed to preach the tru gospel-the salvation that is available for all who believe. The world can defend, justify and look over their sin but in the end we all fall short everyday and need Gods grace upon us. Only thing I would have added was mentioning that it is a free gift we need to accept but that we also need to repent of our sins. He mentioned that they are all sinners, but it's important to mention repenting in the Gospel presentation as well. Otherwise, it's awesome that they are being a light in this dark world.
