@@sleightofgames Not only the casualty rate, but the fact that it really was a LIFETIME of war. When the army mustered and marched away from home, you only came home again (provided you survived) after the war was over -and this was the _30-year_ war.

@@mah2126 If I may I add to what you were saying : At this stage wives and kids usually followed the army behind with the logistics , so in the 30 year war you could really be borned(and baptist) and killed in the same war without knowing peace time , by the same priest

the concert this video is recorded is at the multipurpose (but mainly icehockey) arena called scandinavium in gothenburg, it has a unique design it shares with the football arena ullevi also in gothenburg, the long sides have the seats going up much higher than the short sides, the outside is completely circular on scandinavium, slightly elliptical on ullevi, that seating design causes a pringles like shape to the roof of scandinavium, a lot of sound engineers and musicians loves to play at scandinavium and ullevi due to the acoustics at both of those venues. it also makes for an interesting visual effect as seen in this video with the lights going higher up on the sides

yeah musically Sabaton is quite simple but the history telling is top notch and that that they get the audio atmosphere matching what they are telling, for example in The Final Solution the musical atmosphere is darker than in lets say Night Witches. Songwriting is done by Joakim Brodén (singer) and Pär Sundström (bass) For further adventures I'll suggest these 4 to get a good oversight of what Sabaton is: -No Bullets Fly - Animated Story Video -Bismarck - Official Music Video --Final solution - MV -Uprising - Live woodstock Poland 2012 I could easily give 50+ songs worth doing but I don't like 1.long posts 2.people demanding that you have to do this and this and this.... 3.spam with overwhelming amount of info

Thanks for your great reaction to this epic concert song! As for recommendation, someone has already written this: Steel Commanders. I know you will like it because it's about games. Sabaton made this video with the World of Tanks . The second must to see is a music video Primo Victoria - the same - about tanks for The World of Tanks with loud game sound effects ; the song was one of their early great success.

Hello, nice reaction, especially using the term "anthemic." Yes, another poster is right, about adjusting so that your voice is the same volume as the song. (Maybe play around with having the video large and your photo smaller. I've seen other reactors do this, and like that I can see the video, but that's up to you:). For suggestions, since you mentioned outdoor concerts, check the live Hellfest 2019 Sabaton performance. As I understand, a metal group named Manowar was scheduled to headline, but had some sort of problem with the management, and they refused to play. That left a gaping hole in the festival line-up, and a a huge crowd potentially upset because they had come specifically to see Manowar. Sabaton stepped up and offered to play, though they quite rightly were concerned that the Manowar fans would be unhappy with a different band. The lead singer, Joakim, got through a few songs, when his voice gave out. That left the two guitar players, Tommy Johansson and Chris Rörland, to take turns singing the songs while reading printouts of the lyrics. This is the first time that I've seen these two guitar players not constantly interacting with the audience, as they were busy reading lyrics. However, they gamely did not miss any headbanging at all! Pär Sundström, the bass player, and Hannes van Dahl, the drummer, kept things on track. Sabaton gained tons of new fans that night. Many of the Manowar fans felt abandoned and disrespected by Manowar's deserting them, and really appreciated the huge effort that Sabaton made, despite every obstacle. The general view is that Sabaton's performance was epic, that metal history was made that night, and that people who saw this live are so lucky. It's a great example of carrying on, and inspiration for all of us in our daily lives, when we have a challenge. And good to remember: Always go on for a performance, because the understudy might be better :)

😢 That. Is. Awesome. So metal. As for the volume, yeah I normally stream and record gaming vids. This is a side thing. I recorded a few in one sitting and realized the volume was a smidge lower than I'd like. Too late to change it now (next two posts will be similar) but should be better from then on. As for the screens, I usually have a small face window in the corner and the rest if the screen in gameplay. Similar with other things. For this stuff I may keep it the same. We'll see how it goes. I appreciate your feedback and awesome rock story!

My main thing is live streaming games and such on Twitch, then posting the lightly edited versions here. However, I did take this into consideration and changed the format of one I recorded tonight. Let's see how it goes!
