I've been saying this since they nerfed glad shield healing on multiple targets. It was an incredible bridge item to bully in lane, but the moment any form of antiheal came into the equation, the sustain from glad was practically null by that point. If you take away every factor of sustain, Arthur wins most trades by level 4 just due to the raw damage of abilities he can chain together. He has poke, setup, a slow, a prot shred, and consistent sources of damage that are almost always up. Couple that with free mitigations simply for fighting, and you have a god that can bully well, even in a late game fight. The only problem with Arthur in the current meta is the same problem every tank has: diminishing returns for stacking defense. But Arthur still tanks better than a lot of other warriors regardless.

There are diminishing returns on literally every stat in the game percentage wise. You need a good mix of health, protections, and health regen in order to tank effectively. Just like you need a good mix of power, pen, and cooldown/attack speed to damage effectively.

Defense follows a curve and has actual dr in value. % penetration and armor reduction further increase these diminishing returns. I'm speaking in a mathematical sense of how the game calculates and stacks these values, and anyone who has built defense items in all 6 slots vs power items in all 6 slots can see the clear difference in scaling value.

You have to remember Thor was released like 8 years ago and the game has come a long way since then. They can't completely rework a God with quite a popular kit.

Bro, I have been struggling so hard in ranked lately. I cant ever get good supports. 1 time I had a herc support who constantly pushed the enemy out of my hou yi ultimate. He also built straight damage and didn't allow me to farm. He ended up 1-9 and blaming me. I ended up 4-4. It just gets frustrating, like ill admit when I struggle and we lose simply because of me, but no one else takes accountability.

Literally I’m in the same boat as you, because I took my rank as a joke now I have to climb up the ladder 5v1ing everybody because I can’t count on my teammates to sustain themselves or hold themselves through. Also yeah I agree nobody takes accountability for their mistakes and only wanna play the person doing the best on the team or helping the most, nobody every looks at them selves. For that reason I highly despite smite for it. A bit of advice is, start being selfish and making plays that wins u the game. U might get lucky and get a teammate who’s popping off. But never look at your team to help you until you’re in plat or above. Gold and silver players can give a shit about team work.

Yes, stupidly enough you can indeed beads out of this single target, minor damage ult. With some of the other ults that work similarly, like Ne Zha's, you would have to anticipate it and use beads before it lands. I believe Heimdallr's ult is also inescapable once you are in it.
