Just ordered one today, coming from a Link 2 that I’ve flown that last two years. Given our similar flying styles I’m feeling much better about my decision and can’t wait for it to arrive!

This was the exact video I was hoping would be out there on the Internet, cheers. I also have a Uni 1.1 and am looking to upgrade. I was tempted with the DriftAir, but after speaking to some other pilots they reckon there is a lot of occilation with it, and you tend to be fighting it a lot.

Amazing video and advice, Thank you so much!!!, I have already a new one Nucleon 4 ,but I didn°t flew it yet, that is the reason why I am quite grateful for all what you show and said in this video. I have been flying paramotor since 2016 . From now on I will follow you channel. Thanks!

Nice review. I fly a Universal 1.1 right now (only about 22 hours flight time so far) and I'm just looking at different wings when I eventually upgrade. I think I'm going to stick with the Dudek brand and my thoughts are between this wing and the Hadron 3 (I like cross country flying). I won't be upgrading any time soon, going to get atleast 100+ hours on the Uni before I do.

Nice review and I agree with your points. I just got back from Salton Sea 2024 and flew a handful of wings, a Nuc 22 being one of them. I have about 40 hours and my first wing is a BGD Magic 25 (M) which is great for living near Denver. My average launch is between 5,000/7,000ft msl so the big wing is great for launches and recoveries but dang its slow and very boaty in the turbulent mountain air. Down in Salton I flew a Nucleon 22, ReportAir 24, Viper XC 20, and a Spyder 22. I spent most of my time on the Nucleon because I liked its characteristics so much. We flew up the canyons to the west and its tip steering control was very responsive. I practiced some mild wingovers and spirals and its quick to respond and pick up speed. I also was able to keep up with most people at neutral trims (I think the 4 mark). I didn't go full trim out on any of them beacuse im still getting used to this sport and taking my time learning. I also didn't get a chance to try bar on any of them. The more I read about Dudek's Power Attack system, the more I lean to this brand for my next wing.

Whats you're opinion on the Nucleon 22 vs Viper XC 20? Pretty much all my time has been on the Spyder, interested in what you liked about the characteristics of the nucleon or Dudeks in general. Leaning toward the Viper or Hadron.

Nice review, for those really wanting a bit more speed, this wing adds quite a bit more speed when full accelerated with bar. It can really rip then. Its the funnest wing I've flown without the stability or pucker factor of spicier wings.

Thanks, good review. Mine is on the way. I was glad to hear you were on a Universal because that is where I am also.

I'm heavy loaded on the nuc4 as well. I'm agreeing with everything you say. I've been launching and landing trimmed at 3 and find I need to grab above the brake handles at the swivel when landing to get enough flare. I wonder if you're having the same experience with it.

I went from a Universal 1.1 (greatest beginner wing!!) to a Report'Air, which is basically a Nuc with modified wingtips to be a bit more stable. I really like the move. The Report'Air is more nimble and more fun, and I've found that the flare authority on landing is much greater than the Uni. I just feel like I have much more power to slow down and control my landing with it. My next wing... either a Hadron 3 or a Nuc 4... but it might be a little while before I get into another wing.

Yep I went same route, UNi, ReportAir and then to the Nuke 4. The Nuke 4 is more agile and easier to launch than the ReportAir.

Do you think 22 would be too unloaded for your weight in turbulent conditions? I'm trying to understand the normal/experienced weight categories. I weigh around 117-120 kg normally, but with half a tank as I usually fly. I fly Universal 28 and it is unloaded in turbulent conditions. Thank you!

Hey Dan very good video I am really thinking hard about buying one of these wings nucleon 4 The only thing I know is ozone I've been on a spider pretty much from school I've got 220 hours on a spyder and then a spyder3, thing is I've been losing weight since I started flying I started it 220 lb I'm down to 155 lb My 24 m spider 3 is very lofty so I want to downsize You didn't say what your all up weight was . I'm right at 104 to 105 kg dressed for winter fully loaded with fuel on my rig That's the high end because I normally only fly here in Florida and sell them go up completely topped off with fuel so my weight would probably be closer to a 102 Kgs I love the Dudek wing line I've been doing my homework. being a brand loyal to ozone is starting to get old So anyways you think a 20 m would be right for me? I've got 80 hours with 2D steering tied in my landings are perfect My take offs are pretty darn good I would have to work on the faster takeoff so I'm sure any input would be greatly appreciated so ready to pull the trigger on one of these 20 m nucleon 4
