about fez and nate: basically rue is like family to fez and in season one there was a bunch of stuff happening with rue/jules/nate...Because nate was an absolute asshole (no surprise) rue asked fez to like..intimidate him i guess and that kinda backfired because nate ended up calling the cops on fez (and he therefore put fez' "drug business", his entire life, his family etc. on the line)

But we do know that Rue started using when she was only like 13, so Fez got to witness her in her "formative" years I guess hahah and she's a heavy addict which means she would see him for drugs all the time and not just here and there for a party or something...I think the two just connected and in that scene in s1 where she says "you did this to me" you can tell how guilty he feels because he genuinely cares about her. (Also, Ash isn't his actual brother either but he treats him like one and I feel like its the same with Rue)

A list of all the things Nate has done wrong: 1) Stalks and beats up a man for “having sex” with his ex and makes him go confess to something he didn’t do, putting the man in jail (part of this is also Maddy’s fault) 2) Fakes an identity on Grindr and makes Jules fall for him as a guy called Tyler. (Jules is trans so she finds it easier to find men online than in person) 3) Ask Jules for nudes knowing that she’s underaged. 4) Has Jules meet up with him where he reveals himself and says that he’s in love with her (still manipulating her) and also threatens to go to the police with the images of her so she’s put on a list of child sex offenders because it is seen as child pornography. 5) Defends his father after doing the deed with Jules (a child) and recording her without consent. 6) Snitches on Fezco (who he also buys drugs from) and has the police raid his house which gets Fez in trouble with the man he works with. Fez is angry about the snitching thing but Rue also told him what Nate did to Jules and because he sees Rue as family and Rue loves Jules, and they can’t go to police about Nate’s harassment, he beats them up. This is what I remember but I watched Euphoria when it first aired lol

Okay I'm going to break down what I can about nate, because the real question we should be asking is what is it that nate DIDN"T do last season. Okay, so Nate's Dad hooked up with Jules through a gay dating app. (she didn't know he was Nate's dad, he didn't know she went to school with him) Nate was dating Maddy (the girl who threw the rag in the bathtub) she hooked up with some random guy named Tyler at his party to piss him off. And Nate being the possessive weirdo that he is, hunted down Tyler, threatened to report him for statutory rape, and then beat the living shit out of him. (Tyler was 22, Maddy was 17) Nate's dad records every person he hooks up with, and he recorded him and Jules. Nate found the tape and wanted to blackmail Jules so she wouldn't potentially tell the police about his dad and ruin his family's reputation. So Nate joined the gay dating app, catfished Jules for weeks trying to get to know her, sexting her, and he took her nudes and used them to blackmail her into staying quiet. Then Nate assaulted Maddy, and to keep himself from going to jail, he went back to Tyler and told him he could either take the fall for the assault or confess to raping Maddy at his party. (Nate really be putting Tyler through it) Maddy was also in on it and said that it was Tyler who assaulted her. Then Nate blackmailed Jules again and told her that she had to vouch for him and say that she witnessed Tyler assaulting Maddy. Rue was worried about Jules because obviously she was stressed out cause Nate was blackmailing her, and Rue put the pieces together and realized it had to be Nate that was making her so stressed. So Rue went to Fez, asked him to scare Nate by threatening him, so Fez did. Then Nate called the cops on Fez and got his house raided for drugs So that's why Fez beat the fuck out of him in this episode. THERE if yall actually read that, that's all you need to know about Nate. He's a POS

Please please do season 1!! This show is literally my experiences, I can relate to every single character on a serious level, it’s so close to my heart. This show makes me feel so seen. It has some pretty serious themes so yes it would be hard to review but it worth it! This show has opened a conversation that wasn’t happening before. High school kids deal with addiction and sexual confusion and violence every day and some people really need to open their goddamn eyes to it. I see so many comments on this show about how it’s unrealistic…well it’s portraying my actual life so it’s not unrealistic in any way shape or form. It’s someone’s real life. The writer of the show actually said that the idea for the show came from their real life high school experiences as a drug addict. So for the people saying this show is over dramatic- it’s not. You just didn’t have that experience.

Fez beat up Nate because he catfished and blackmailed Jules last season, making her fall for him and then forcing her to incriminate someone or else he will release the tape of her and her father. Rue figured it out and confronted him, and he in turn did the same to her. Fez used to be Rue's drug dealer until he decided he won't sell to her again because of her addiction and he is also her friend, or more like sister. So fez told nate that if he messes with rue or jules he will kill them. Nate called the cops on him for drug dealing and to get away he and his brother Ash had to throw away tones of drugs before the cops kicked their door open. Basically, this was revenge for all the emotional harm he did to his friends and for the money he lost and danger he put him in. Also Lexi kinda knows what Nate did so she isn't really upset, just very scared, because she is a very shy character and the one that always takes care of everyone. To be honest, she is the most sane one in this show.

Angus Cloud who plays Fezco (MacMillar) actually might have some mild brain damage which is why he talks like that. He's got a scar that runs along the left side of his head. He's never addressed it publicly though. And it clearly doesn't affect his talent.

I kind of agree that s1 is better than s2 bc as of rn, the only characters who make me sit up while watching their scenes are Fez and Ash. All the other storylines are very "sam why would you write that, please get more writers" for me rn.

@@joey_ferrari24 idk maybe I'm of the wrong opinion but ep 4 is bad. the only story that moved forward was Cal's, too much artsy not enough plot, the tension building for the Cassie/Maddy explosion is getting stale, Nate sounded sane for a sec and it freaked me out, and Rue is doing a really good job at being an addict but everyone around her is very bad at having an addict in their lives. the only thing i liked about the episode was the church scene (idk what it meant but it was good artsy and it'll probably make sense next ep) and Cal's family scene. idk i could be wrong, that was my first impression of the episode, maybe if i rewatch i'll see why so many people liked it.

@@Kaaaaaaafire17 I loved the artsy aspect to it. I thought it was cool to see Nate acting sane and Cassie getting crazy. Or crazier, I think it also shows what a toxic dickhead Nate is because it’s implied he made Maddie crazy and is now doing it to the next girl! I thought the backstory was cool, I thought the camera work was great too! It’s always good, and the score is always great. Idk I loved it but that’s what art is different interpretation to different people, I can see your point though.
