Excellent choice of a theme for Dudley, always liked the opening theme from Agatha Christie's Poiro. That's what the theme reminds me of .

In the last story, "Lifting the curtain," when Bear and Donald trick Dudley into confessing that he was behind the trouble he caused, I find it similar to the episode on, "Shining Time Station, Yabba yabba yabba," in the part where the kids tricked Schemee into confessing that he planted walkie-talkies around the station and listening in on people's conversations

Just love this adaptation! Dudley is basically Devious Diesel and Diesel 10 as a steamie. Both Diesel and Dudley are painted black with red buffers. And both are very scheming and manipulative. Bear is Duck as a diesel. I'm so glad Henry stood up for Bear, just like how Edward stood up for Duck. I also love how Dudley's angry face is like Diesel 10's.

Everyone else usually upload each story of Dudley the Vagrant Engine before doing a compilation but you just went ahead and did the entire book! A very good way to start the New Year! I sure liked the last scene at the Vicarstown bridge. Very eerie. And with that, I think I can predict what story you are going to have for Halloween later this year.

I wonder if Dudley was scrapped after leaving Sodor? But very good adaptation nonetheless. Keep it up 👍

He was actually scrapped in real life because of the modernisation of British Railways as he is a GNR/LNER and British Railways O2 class 2-8-0 steam locomotive which are all scrapped, he is specifically no 63971 which was also scrapped.
