But the issue is I had applied for ATAS on 6th aug specifying the date of course completion year as 2024 but in the CAS it is mentioned as 2025. Hey, 1. when it comes to the ATAS I am not completely sure. However given that your CAS states the later date this should not be a problem for the VISA application. I recommend you call the international student support at your University or the VISA application centre just to make sure. 2. If you receive the VISA then you basically have it for however long it is stated. The only issue, that people faced in my year as well, is that you are given 90 days from the point you receive it to travel into the country(extended from 30 due to the pandemic). So if you are not able to travel within those 90 days you would then have to apply for an extension for the entry but it is not a new VISA.

I recommend trying to find someone who has done the application and find out from their experience because from what I have researched and my experience, Student VISAs already have a certain level of priority. However, it does depend on how busy the centre in your country is.

You can apply in the 31 days that come after the 28. So the money will be in your account for 28days(min) then you can print out the bank statements(or obtain electronic copies). After you print them out, you can only use them for the next 31days. Hope this clarifies things.

You will pay for 18months. The health insurance is charged for every 6months. If it was 19 or 20 months you would have gotten into a new 6month period, therefore you'll have to pay for 2 years.

You have to use fresh ones. If you’re sending your application on e.g 28 August, the earliest date on your Bank Statement should be the 1 August. If it’s 31July (or before) then the statement doesn’t satisfy the 28day rule anymore.

Yes that is the case. It also means that you have to be on top of your VISA application process e.g organize finances even before you get your results. The CAS itself won’t take long, so if you get it a few days after sending your results, you want to be in a place where you’re ready to add just it, and submit your application.

But from my friends who have, they have said you have to be determined and confident and it will be a lot easier. If you have people skills it can be easier. However, like everything, I think everyone’s experience is different but you can definitely do it!

Technically it’s not a problem, but you have to consider when you plan to travel. You want to make sure that your passport is valid when you travel because that’s where your entry clearance will be. After you enter the country you won’t need the clearance they put on your passport but still need your passport for travel.

In the UK most Undergraduate Bachelors degrees are honours degrees for example I'm studying a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science. From a Bachelors degree, with or without Honors, you can go into a Masters degree. However, you might have to do a semester or two(during the Masters) of the material that makes the honours part of the Bachelor's degrees. I hope this makes sense. I don't think it helped much. The A Level certificate and the one showing my English Language were the ones they were looking for. I usually recommend giving more than they ask because it shows that you are a legit person and have the right intentions applying for that VISA.

CAS Numbers are issued as soon as you’re eligible for it. i.e you’ve provided all the qualifications they asked for and made your offer unconditional. However, universities can legally only start issuing them from 3months before your course starts so June/July

@@dudukineiloe My Cause starts in May, I have an unconditional offer and I submitted my Bank statement and other documents for CAS request last week so I hope I will receive the cas this week or next. If possible can I get you email so you help advise on certain informations. Thank you

@@thehumbleone6912 what university did you apply for. You don’t need to show your bank statement for CAs. I got my CAs as soon as I gave this the original documents of my O level exam, and also my TB test, and lastly after the interview , and I already paid the whole tuition. So they gave me my CAS, without needing to upload my statement of account.

Please how and where do we have to pay the health surcharge I wanted to find out if it’s refundable if the (worst scenario) the visa application gets rejected
