I have a question about the proof of funds; Does the UK cost of living threshold amount (£1,023/£1,334 per month) still applies if an applicant opted to live in the dorm/hostel? In other words, if an applicant decides to live in the school’s residence/accommodation for the academic year should the proof of funds still have the UK cost of living threshold or it’s just going to be the cost of tuition and accommodation? @@oluchiowunwanne4242 Thank you. Regardless of where you are living, that’s the threshold. Also, bear in mind that they just announced an increment that will be effective in January 2025. So please visit the Ukvi website to confirm your cost of living if you are planning a January intake.

@@uchechukwulydia3271 it doesn’t have to, I mean you should have back up fund incase you need to exchange money. Also, you can exchange pounds from Nigeria, but you have to check your airline restrictions regarding traveling with cash and the highest amount you can travel with.

@@debbiealexisalexis9852 it all depends on you though, if you are sure you will be ready for the next intake you can defer. If not, you can withdraw your admission. The only disadvantage will be that if tution increases for the next intake, you will be affected.
