Definitely make more of these videos, I'm sure your commentary will improve with time.

See that folks? This is all it takes to make good content. Some beautiful elder scrolls music and the uncut voice of an expert at his craft, teaching us yet also teaching himself during. The reason I mention it being uncut is because its really great to see how little ego you have; you approach what you think happened, and if you feel your wrong you'll go over it in slow motion and break down every little thing, even though it sounds like the ramblings of a madman sometimes, it all makes perfect sense. this was such a relaxing 20 minutes. And I sincerely thank you good sir.

Would also like to see some explanation on player movement/footwork (I know it's hard to explain) since some of your opponents in the video tried to get tricky with it. Awesome, can't wait for this to be a series!

I would definitely like to see more, but I’m obsessed with high level dueling, and I feel like I (personally) would learn more from fights in which you face more pressure. Maybe you could do a mashup of your best duels, from those where you get stuck into a counter war to those where you just completely demolish an opponent in seconds. And, as far as constructive criticism goes, I believe you should focus more on obscure(ish), and/or complex maneuvers rather than simple reposts (albeit, I did learn a couple of new things about stamina control and damage, so thank you for that). And also, I think (and this is entirely up to you, but I do think it is a good idea) that you should put even more effort into analyzing your fights before you record yourself reviewing them. I do this with my own clips as well, as sometimes there are things that you can (or could have) missed, whether that be because you are (or were) too hurried, or because, as a highly skilled player, your perspective blinds you to things which you might think already evident to us, the general populace. Other than that, I can safely say that this video has taught me a few things that I wasn’t (at least, not entirely) already aware of, and also that it has cemented a few ideas and strategies of mine into my mind as good ones. I’ve learned from this, and I look forward to learning more.

Also, I think one of your greatest skills in this game is your ability to recognize weakness in others and take advantage of that by responding conversely. That is something that, for the last four months, I have been trying to perfect as best as I can, and I find it really inspiring to see a player as good as you playing the same, as it provides me with an idol to look up to and a goal, as well as a reason to challenge myself to get better.

@xo47832 жыл бұрын
@@ahhhsothisishowyouchangean162 those are the type of guys you need to play with. you can’t let them dictate the pacing of the fight or else they’ll mess you up. basically your only two options are to use a long range weapon that can keep them at a distance, or switch to someone who has a shield so that you can abuse your block. when i fight against the speedy types who orbit me, randomly feint, and chase me down with heavy’s whenever i try to dash away, normally what i’ll do is discourage their playstyle by simply waiting them out. feinting usually takes more stamina from them than blocking with a shield does from you. you just have to treat them like a child, show no fear, and wait until they get pissed off because you’re playing like a bitch and they can’t do a single thing about it. except kick. but that’s what you’ll have been waiting for, right? don’t let them control the fight. assume confidence, and eventually you’ll win.

If you swing and connect it to someone (blocked or damage) and then combo, you can cancel that combo at any time. As I said at the timestamp, because I combo''d my swing and my combo'd attack is then a heavy attack, the heavy attack can be canceled while it's still in windup.

Love this series. From a very new player, (I have watched your guide though) it would be interesting to know in duels specifically why you are going for a particular attack type eg slash / overhead / stab, in a given scenario. Not saying you do this for every single attack but for example lots of slashing at the start and then halfway through a fight you decide to overhead.. how come? Thanks !
@Ziggylata2 жыл бұрын
If it makes sense, you don't really decide to most of the time. I just "do" overheads and stabs. Sometimes I will focus a particular attack to go for a weakness. If im fighting the Maul for example, the Maul Stab is very bad. If I stab them a lot, they're forced to do more stabs themselves and that's bad for them. Other than that, there is no thinking about it.
