He has good offense but it feels hard to maintain because sweep costs so much stamina -I'm a bit surprised with nobushi. You have to remember most tier placements are done through the number ratings. His character explanations exist to tell you what they can do and are not an indication for there power. In regard to nobushi.

Nah nobushi is as bad as it gets, none of her attacks are faster than 500ms and the kick is 600ms and only accessible after an attack, the "it lands more often than it should" isn't that indicative since on paper it should never land... The hidden stance as cool as it is, it's basically a glorified dodge

Completely correct about pk. Its also a light which makes it a heavy punish, its also slow which means you can get lighted out of the attempt. Its also only high which means its easy to deal with.

The guy who posted about PKs dagger cancel being reactable and unusable is Bean, a tournament level, genetic lottery winner with sub 130ms reactions. He's on the extreme fringe of outliers and shouldn't be considered when it comes to whether attacks are reactable or not. The amount of active players that can react to her dagger cancel are likely in the single digits.

Amazing tier list honestly, only thing i disagree w is the orochi placement. There’s no amount of convincing anyone can do to make me think lawbringer is better than orochi, I feel like orochi is at the top of B tier.

Lawbringer is solely based off of parrying and OOS punishes from what I’ve gathered with my 70 reps with him. His heavy parries are scary and his light parry generally let’s him back into his chain or pauses the fight. He probably has some of the scariest OOS punishes in the game and he’s very good at stamina draining. Sure Orochi is difficult to fight, but if a Lawbringer stands there playing optimally, then someone has to attack if they plan to win the match. Since he is a defensive hero, he doesn’t really have to worry about stumbling on himself trying to do offense. In my personal experience as an LB main, I love fighting Orochi’s because I feel like I’m being handed a win. If I dodge their kick early I get a dodge bash, or I can make a read and parry them for more damage. Which I forgot to mention, a dodge bash is pretty good even if it is slow. This is a very biased opinion though since I don’t play Orochi on that level so I wouldn’t know, but I generally don’t find Orochi to be a big worry unlike when I find a Lawbringer who can parry.

I dont disagree with anything in the list at all. Very well put together. There's a bit more to nobu than what was said, i have an entire guide written out which explains most of her strengths and weakness' as well as timings for things and dmg. Her biggest flaw is that her animations are too fluid, which makes defending against her way too easy as everything is too noticable. I personally would put her in bottom D and not with jorm in E, for the main reason of, she can delay her attacks more than anyone else that i've played, which means her bashes, lights, vipers retreats and heavies can all be thrown at the very last millisecond in the recovery. But after near 6 years of maining nobushi, i know she loses pretty much every matchup. But the delaying helps so much in terms of winning. I've beaten many top players for the mere fact that i've kinda mastered her delays. The biggest example of delay i can provide is that, with nobushi's heavy, you can delay the kick, heavy, and vipers retreat up until the point where your guard comes back. like a frame before it is back. Also for anyone that does want to play nobu. Dont use cobra strike. please. 700ms, 14 dmg, light parry punish, can only only chain into Hidden stance or heavy or dodge. Side winder is 600ms, heavy parry punish, 16dmg. can chain into hidden stance, heavy, vipers retreat, dodge, and kick.

Her bash is locked behind heavies and are 500 ms. It's effectively a 500 ms bash locked on a 400 ms startup timing. The "countered" part was in comparison to Ara's similar soft feint bash. Ara can cancel whiffed bashes to beat the opponent dodge attacking, while Valkyrie doesn't have an option to beat dodge attacks after whiffing the bash.

I personally don’t think aramusha is that high up. People say nobu loses to anyone who can block well and to that I agree but aramusha definitely has it worse. The only think saving him is blade blockade which can be punished bad. Aramusha is literally just normal attacks. No properties at all other than the zone. Just my opinion though

He got a huge buff at the beginning of year 5: He has a soft feint bash from opener heavies He can light and heavy from every side in chain like conq, hes no longer forced to go side top side He can recovery cancel into blade blockade from every attack He has a dodge heavy
