As a Hog main I'd honestly compare him with Winter Soldier, he has huge dmg, can pull people into him with his arm and the orb he sends could be interpreted like the old Hog m2. The only different thing is obviously the ult, but aside from that their playstyles of high dmg and dispositioning the enemies are very similar.

In case you guys didn’t know this about Hulk, you can tackle flying characters out of the air with your jump. I denied scarlet witch ult soooo many times. And I was able to stop iron man from obliterating our team from the air. All you have to do is just jump straight into them.

The most fun thing is tackling another hulk out of the air. Obviously you have to do this pre emptively, but if you call out the other hulks escape you can shut them down hard. Best feeling in the game.

This might sound weird, but I think Hulk sort of works for Rein players. Not in a shield the team type of way, but a "pick on someone your own size" type of way

I would honestly argue Groot for Orisa. Since Orisa's main gameplan is to kinda be a wall while sustaining damage and dealing damage. Groot has means through his actual walls to do damage and sustain himself, while also blocking characters off. And they both have an Ultimate that sucks enemies to the center. Both also have long range attacks

You might want to also try hulk with rammatra since he sort of also has a form changing aspect. Though you probably won't be changing forms nearly as much as rammatra while playing hulk.

Magneto also works for DVA too imo, he has no mobility but he has an eat and a big, damaging ult. He’s obviously sig tho but you can make the argument for dva too

thor being the answer for 4 completely different tanks took me out 😂😂 and thor is also almost the worst tank to pick from! he's not that strong comparing to other tanks, he doesn't really have very good self-sustain and his "form" lasts literal seconds, especially comparing it to ramattra's form i agree that thor's gameplay looks and feels like ramattra's, but doomfist, junkerqueen and hog players should look for other options to play my pick would be winter soldier, bc his kit feels like doom's and hog's, since he has hook and "stun" ability to lift people in the air, ramming in them, and his primary fire feels like jq's gun thor needs buffs in my opinion, at least to make his form last longer like ramattra's form and some self-sustain, like making his E ability to be a proper shield his blue armor isn't really helping anyway, and he doesn't have ramattra's hands or ramattra's shield to protect himself during and after his form so... i don't recommend maining thor, we should wait for proper buffs or reworks of his abilities. but at the same time... thor is the most played tank of mine. i played a lot of him during beta and i still liked playing as him, even if he's not that strong and i felt pain dying on him everytime. but it was worth it. i just like thor lol

Nah, Hulk is easily the work tank. I mained tank in both play tests and I'd take any tank over Hulk. Thor's not that bad if you understand his kit.

While ball and venom are mechanically similar I really dont think they're similar gameplan wise, I'd say ball is most like hulk bc of his continual movement / pressure and his hit and run gameplan, whereas venom is more like winston cause he has discreet movement and pressure

Those characters don't exist in Marvel Rivals, because they in the same genre doesn't make everything after OW an OW clone or we forgetting OW is a clone? I mained zarya since goats and honestly as much as i still found her fun playing her in ow2 never scratched the same itch so i played more tanks like hog and sigma and winston. I also played alot of dps doomfist and was really sad when they removed him so im for sure gonna be a magneto/winter soldier main

I think tree is more similar to Rein than you think. Both thrive at holding a choke and often need help from the team to close and make a play. Both ults need good timing as there are both blocked by shields. So far there is none like Rein, Hulk has the closest to his primary attack and nothing comes close to his pin.

A lot of people had that same "Overwatch but with Marvel, why would I play this?" thought, but after the playtests so many have switched their perspective and had a ton of fun. If you give it a try you may enjoy it, even if you don't enjoy team based pvp games.
