I think Fire Prison might be worth testing with Butler as it prevents your opponent from going into link 1s or 2s when you have Mewgnard on field. I think that's enough to blank some decks entirely.

Could be a good side-deck option, but wouldn't be a good main deck one as it does absolutely nothing to plenty of decks.

I prefer running Rafflesia + Gravedigger Trap Hole. Sure, it adds another brick to the deck, but we can make any rank 4 xyz before locking us onto Madolches. Plus, burning the opponent with 2000 damage can get a win in the third duel as we can extend the combo until the time is over.

Yes butler rusk skill is stronger than you think. But I am not sure if it will get a permanent slot in main still. Searching for any field spell is very powerful.

The problem still is that Bulterusk (and Village) are essentially bricks. It may be good to include them on a deck count of 45 or 50 tho where you might be able to add 1ofs without decreasing the engine count too much.

@@sul7718 Salon at multiple copies is a soft brick, since you're usually intended to search that as part of the Linkcat combo, and Glass is a worse nibiru repellant. If you really needed that, Magilene -> Salon -> Magilene -> Traptrix Rafflesia often dealt better (and set you up for Petting), but that means running more bricks (specifically running 1 GTH and more than 1 Salon) Those are nice combos, but that means further eating into a limited deck space. As is right now, Salon might be good, but Vernaslyph combos right now are just better and that means less deck space for a Butler and Spellcaster's Secret Village (usually the best floodgate field) unless you can somehow maintain a Spellcaster without overextending into common going-2nd answers like Kaijus. And note: Magilene / Salon does not have leeway for Butler either, as Butler needs the 2nd NS slot to work properly.
