When Winnipeg was picked to finish 4th in the division in your earlier video I commented that as a Moose Season tickets holder, I feel the future is bright with the prospects coming up. Thankyou for edifying me Shannon. I look forward to the team power rankings on the eve of the regular season. Last year the Jets finished 4th overall and were picked to finish 14th at the start of the season.

Bensn might be better than JJ, Heleniu too once he comes over to North America (if he plays 1 yr in the AHL) 2 yrs from now. They have 4 guys locked up, it might be up to 7 if they lock up Peterk & those 2. By chance if 1 of Lukkon or Levi hit as a starter there's another on a long term deal. Then there's Byrm bit of a wildcard, but who knows if he really gets motivated & stays healthy, fheres maybe another. So like what 9 or 10 guys locked up on long term deals? Sabres should have kept Middlestd & traded 1 of Rosen (when is he gonna see NHL action?), Kulic, or even Ostlnd. Also, McLeo for Savoi trade might be an ok trade also.

80 - 82 overall is pretty standard for first overall picks starting off. Roster Updates will likely adjust them if they have a solid season

Sabres vs 75% penguins ahl roster is a DUB but at least we looked good after the first, saw a lot of good stuff from our new bottom line, mal/laff/AK is going to be great. injecting those physical guys really brings our game up, we will be harder to play against. JJP is FIRE!

@@christopherharte4741 That is what preseason hockey often is. Crosby would have played years ago, but now he is being rested more due to his age. That's why Dahlin did not play because he is nursing a small illness/injury.

@@JPS47 Tuch would have been my choice last season if it was this team, but I think he needs a year to get back on track. Same with Thompson. I don't think it's a "spark" for people always. I also am just old school and like when defenseman have the C. I feel they get a great look at the game and you win when you play smart from the back

3:20 Losing Dillon on defense is going to hurt the Jets, hard to replace. Scott Arniel is not a good coach.

I don't think its gonna hurt that much, C.Millr is decent as a bottom pair guy, which is what Dilln is (Dilln is a hell of a bottom pair guy though, better than C.Millr), but I think Sambrg is better & should take a step this yr. Pionk has a down yr, so he should rebound a bit. L.Stanly has his detractors but he has the ability to elevate his game a bit. Heinol could be an ideal #5 Dman if he can stay healthy. Also, H.Fleur a depth Dman is decent. The Blue line is decent but they need Morriss to stay healthy & a couple guys to pick up some slack. Jets should finish 3rd or 4th anything less is a failure. Ehler probably gets traded now, at the deadline, or in the summer. But he's 90% gone with Chibrik, Lambrt NHL ready, & Barlw, Yagr (who are even better prospects) should feature next season after this. Plus Luciu, Zhilkn, Levis, Julien, He, etc, Jets have a good future, don't mess it up now

@@mannyoliveira776 Heinola, hard to tell when he'll be ready.Not a good situation. Good young prospects, some will make the NHL & stay & others won't. Too early to tell who does. They can't rebuild like many teams do. They definitely need to have a better playoff type roster to avoid the last playoff disasters.

@@sameold5050 I think they will all make the NHL, not to pressure them, but all 9 guys I listed will make the NHL, a couple are 1st line player, a couple 2nd line players, the other 5 should be middle 6 guys or 3rd liners at worst down the road of course.

@@mannyoliveira776 Very optimistic. With all respect to them (young Jets players) they really haven't proved they're NHL players at all. Some will make it, some not. Some will be AHL players. Look at how Perfetti did the first 3 months of last season then was completely invisible for a long time after...and he's the Jets 2nd C, when he agrees to a contract. They've had a difficult time filling that position since Statsny left.
