You’re catching on. They expect 1st rounders for bloated contracts like Gallagher and Anderson. Maybe they’ll make the playoffs this year…😊

No Habs fan thinks Anderson or Gallagher is worth a 1st rounder. Also, in a rebuild, you generally don’t want to make the playoffs. You know how hockey works?

@CampRobber-ms3wp there were several teams who were willing to give up a 1st for Anderson, but they passed up that opportunity. He was worth a first, back then.

Fanatics quality has been complete shit from day 1, and now they want to charge us an extra $150 for the authentic jerseys and they won’t even be of the same quality we have been getting through adidas, guaranteed.. hockey jerseys just went to shit with this deal IMO

Yup 1000%. I'm not worried abt the initial release. Give it a few years when fanatics really takes over /stops using the adidas template. Quality will go down. Look at their track record, it speaks for itself

I have numerous Adidas jersey but I bought the less expensive, lighter weight Fanatics version of the Kraken Winter Classic jersey and it's great. Sure, not the heavy weight, on-ice feel, but excellent quality and was glad for the lighter weight when I was in Vegas heat for the draft. I also got to check out the new Fanatics jerseys at the draft and they seemed every bit at good as the Adidas ones.

Swayman for sillinger 1st and Merzlinkis. Swayman for fabree 3rd and frost My favorite... Swayman for Kadri (17.5%retained). Good hockey trade and Calgary can start rebuilding a failed retool. No way I see them coming to terms and I don't see wolf becoming a starter anytime soon. Can trade him like an asksrov to any of the other teams above who prob have worst goaltending in the league. Can throw LA,Sea,Det, and Mtl too.

1. columbus probably does this. swayman can even get the bloated contract he doesn't deserve because the jackets need to reach the floor. and he'll be exposed by the porous cbj defense. 2. maybe, but you're getting a goalie back, probably ersson. can swayman's ego coexist with tortorella's? 3. not sure the flames want to retain for that long. if they do, you're also welcoming back vladar, the retention may be on him instead. problem is, does calgary want to pay him what they're paying huberdeau? neither deserves anything close, but at least hubie had a track record. i'm a habs fan. we don't want swayman or his ego. tandem goalie asking for 8 figures. where does he get off? we'll just wait for fowler. LA...blake will probably do something stupid like trade byfield with kuemper to get swayman, since he has no brain. sea...maybe. shane wright and grubauer. maybe a 2nd or 3rd. beniers and catton are a non-starter. speaking of starters, swayman's never been one. det...what do they have that boston wants? cbj makes the most sense. elvis and korpi can reunite.

Ok I hear people complaining that why nhl doesn’t sell nhl on ice jerseys. Now it’s available to the public, oh it’s too expensive waa waa waa. I’m like you are paying for better quality & Canadian labor of course it’s going to be expensive. I mean the premium ones are made in Indonesia. The average salary in Indonesia is $200 USD a month.

Adidas did charge that much for theirs… If you look at the picture it says the Authentic ones are made in Canada, Adidas has those ones as well and they were 400+ in some cases, The adidas jerseys that were 200-300 dollars were the Authentic ones made in “Indonesia”… Fans were mad at adidas because they were selling fans those jerseys and making the “made in Canada” ones hard to get and REALLY expensive… Also Fanatics always has constant sales going on so these jerseys will always be 15, 25, 30 and sometimes even 40% off… I just don’t understand the complaining in my opinion… It was SOOOO hard to get the adidas made in Canada ones and if you were able to get one they were 400+ sometimes even 600.. Fanatics are giving options and the premium ones are probably gonna be just as good… From what I have heard the quality of these jerseys are actually really nice… I have a couple breakaway ones and to be honest they are not that bad they are really comfortable and great for wearing in the winter over a sweater.

Justin Baron at this point isn’t worth a first round pick, at best a second round pick would be good just to get him off the roaster. Baron is just not in the future plans anymore and to send Mailloux down to Laval in the hopes that Baron shows enough to get a first round is not only unfair to Mailloux, it’s a pipe dream.

6'2 and 194lbs, 25th overall RHD, who only slid because of a medical issue that year. Barron is definitely worth a late first, if only because of his draft position. Also remember the old adage about defensemen coming into their own by their mid-late twenties. By that math(eson) he's got 3-5 years left to develop. Also don't forget that Mailloux is a convicted creep. Young and deserving of chances, but still. Why bring that vibe onto your NHL roster? Especially when he still can't defend? Let him keep maturing in the AHL. The stories of him being told off by older guys there because he wouldn't WORK HARD upon arriving in the AHL. And sure, now "he's learned" but what's another year of maturity for Mailloux and another year of growth for Barron to see if he either fits, or can improve his value. Besides, the Habs are 'rebuilding'. 'Take the next step', 'be in the mix', whatever you wanna say to sell tickets - they'll be fun to watch but still a losing team. Asset management FTW: Maximize player development and value. Let Barron play, then move him after others continue to convince.

500 plus dollars for a jersey!?!? I make just over 100k a year and like hell would I spend that on a jersey!!! They always talk about growing the game but they make it soooooooo inclusive that if your parents aren’t in the top 20% your not even gonna sniff anything hockey playing wise or even when it comes to the multiple packages you need of cable to even just watch the damn sport…. Just sad such a great game that not everyone can enjoy
