This is actually a good value. The Mat alone is $15-$20 bucks. Konami needs to do an official version for $30 and have it be all theme specific (i.e. fire king mat, deck, sleeves, etc.). You can even add a small booklet that guides you on combos and how to play the deck

TCGs with a digital variant should do that. It’s pretty cool to buy a pack and essentially have two packs to build a collection and try different things. Although, a lot of Yugioh’s better cards are higher rarity which will make the card crafting in Master Duel a bit more iffy. They could go the route of not being able to dismantle, but run into the problem of, well, not being able to dismantle/recycle cards.

It's clearly obvious that this is a bunch of surplus stock bundled together to just clear out inventory. However, that being said, it's not a bad deal at all. Most of those decks around 12-15 bucks, and the playmat is easily $15 on its own, with everything else the actual value of the contents (if purchased separately) is pushing $45. Kinda surprised that a product like this exists but I'm glad it does.

I thought for what you got it was decent value, especially maybe for a beginner to get something to get a taste of the game and get some accessories along with it. This was a cool duel and product wise is arguably the best thing for newcomers or returning players for value. The only way I would improve it is if possible add like two or three packs from the rarity collection box for giving an opportunity for more staple cards in case the structure deck in question doesn’t offer much.

Actually a better starter set than the two player starter set. Sleeves, deck box, mat, binder, a structure deck that you'll need two more of if you get something decent like cydra or traptrix. Like assuming you buy the other two structures or loose cards for less than 30 that's everything you need to at least try out the game or even go to locals and have a chance for $60 that's an actual deal.

I think those Monster Box Battle Edition are kinda cool for beginners. Because all that together is more of the price versus buying them separately. A new beginner will have a Play Mat, Deck Box, Card Sleevs, Duelist portfolio, and a Structure Deck. Maybe random but at least something 😅

I played a few games with my brother were we played with the old vanilla monsters but with modern spells and traps and fusion upgrades. The idea being what if fusion cards had been good way back when. to make use of the weaker low-level monsters
