For anyone curious. Aurora Paragon is in Revolution Beginning. A Box that costs half the normal amount of Gems to pull from (Update. Finally got my 3rd copy of Condemned Witch yesterday. And it's prismatic)

I use Cairngorgon and Rhapsody. Cairgorgon is good for protecting monsters and backrow, he pullin double duty. Rhapsody is extra grave interference ontop of being the OTK direct attack enabler.

This is really interesting. Seems like a really good tech. It’s really bricky tho in my testing. Drawing Paragon feels really bad for one thing. Condemned Witch is really good on turn one or even turn two honestly, but you really don’t want to see her later on in the game. So many times I needed to just draw Suships and my hand was just flooded with Forbidden cards/ Witches. I’m thinking of testing this as a 30 card deck though. Landing on 2 monster effect negates, Spell/Trap protection and a floodgate on turn 1 feels really good. And on turn two Witch can still search for your Lance to protect your Suship plays.

I just got best win streak a week ago as a 10-game win streak in platinum using Superheavy Samurai. Superheavy is my favorite deck of all time, and nobody expects it. One day, I will reach KOG with it, but I just don't have the time to grind up the latter 😅

I’m curious, doesn’t Forbidden Dress protect against destruction? Or doesn’t the fact it says other cards means it still can out itself? Either way I’m surprised it’s not in the deck like as an optional search.

its garbage. Both chalice and lance are better in 99% of situations you would NEVER search it, if youre worried about ur card being destroyed by card effect you would just search the appropriate out in either lance or chalice. I dont think it works with dress anyway (protecting itself from its own effect) as it does say other but even if it did its covering for a situation which ur witch is already dodging from (the normal summon)

Dress has to be fully resolved in order for the protection to kick in. Thus, you can't use it in response to something that already targets it or will destroy it.

I reached kog with synchrons. Glad i didnt run into this, only regular suship. Ive actually got a really cool deck that can utilizes link slayer at two copies. Its super consistent, my main turn 1 is Crystal wing + void ogre dragon. I can make it without link slayer as well too.
