Master duel despite its flaws is such a visually appealing client. So much easier to follow duels along when compared to the physical card game or even Duel links.

Client is also very fluid and well optimized, compared to mtg arena which appears nicer aesthetically but overall feels slower and clunkier

Branded showed that resilience is an extremely important quality to a deck in that purely matchup. You gotta force the spins so that you can force it to over protect itself into being killed. If Purely gets consistent hand advantage you likely lose.

I play a bit of ddd and some notes on that first game against purrely, I could be wrong its been a bit. But with swirl slime and gryphon you can get way more than he did. Normal slime, special gryphon, link into gilgamesh just like he did. But set different scales, if you set thomas and another gryphon you have a really good line. Pend summon the first gryphon, activate scale gryhpon to gain attack on a monster sending itself to the extra, thomas effect to grab gryphon from extra, and use slimes gy effect to special the second gryphon. Then overlay both gryphons into your rank 4, and play from there.

@@Morasaky Prioritizing Hu Li first and foremost is the safest and best way to play Mikanko but I see a lot in the tournament is that they summon Ohime first thing which is actually punishable, I would secure having Hu Li on field first than to summon Ohime that searches it's archetypal cards and summon her when she is safe to summon or if Hu Li is in my field if you lose Ohime you will lose a lot of value

If that's what you think, then you really weren't paying attention at all. The Branded player lost by being arrogant and playing into Nibiru every single time. Even if you are being reckless the first time and it's unexpected, you're being stupid to get hit by it over & over again when you know Mikanko's easiest win condition.

You have to plan for what you want your field to be in 4 summons when you KNOW your opponent is playing Nibiru if you can't play through it and set up a fat field afterwards. It was their own fault for playing into it after getting Nibiru'd in both game 1 AND 2. You have to adjust your gameplay in a set. Getting hit with that card 2 games in a row shows that your opponent is almost certainly playing multiple copies, and that chances are going to be too high that they'll have the card in hand again. You have to know what you're doing, but you don't even have to know that much to know how easily you lose to Nibiru. You already know the Nibiru token is going to be well over the 4,000 limit that is the difference between 2 Mikanko cards and 3. It's A LOT easier to get 2 bodies on the field than 3.
