I see a lot of comments about being mad at the vaalmonica game 2. "Criticize the plays, not the player" is what Dkayed always says. Respect that they got to top 8. Criticizing the plays is enough because the player themself already beats themselves enough as is. Keep in mind they do want to improve. That's why they joined the tournament in the first place. Gg go next and let's continue to improve the competitive community! It's the least we can do to support Dkayed, who has done so much for the community! 🙏💪

That Vaalmonica player made me mad with how hard they choked in the second game. So many good opportunities to Ash but held onto it for some ungodly reason. Or let's not forget how they had so many ways to get around Aria but... didn't. Nah that's on them completely

So to clarify the situation during game 3: 54:30 The idea play was to use neither rage nor yama after escape popped the rage. That way we play around talents, because no monster effect has been activated and if the opponent has no talents, then we use phantom, trigger yama with sharvara, yama summons rage and gets rid of the fiend lock by popping sharvara. But I accidentally double tapped on rage and the perfect play to play around talents went out of the window.

In addition, I with yama here 56:44 didn't summon rage, because I banished all Fiend targets for it with prosperity on turn 1. As sharvara even on my opponents board locks me into fiend monsters, the opponent can just run over it, so my best shot was to go for the follow up play with Spirit of Yubel, give them just 1 draw and them not drawing a playable card.

If you’re able to summon Halq, Aurordon, Isolde, or (maybe) Anaconda, they do their broken effects by themselves but Electrumite does nothing on her own. So I still can’t tell why people think Electrumite is the most broken out of all the link 2’s.

It's trauma from the PePe format. Halqifibrax and Anaconda were ban-worthy because they enabled degenerate plays in decks having absolutely nothing to do with Synchro or Fusion Summoning. Electrumite can never be summoned by a non-Pendulum deck. Jerome McHale once said Electrumite was unhealthy because it made all Pendulum decks play the same way *(a logic he proceeded to never apply to any other card)* , but today we have plenty of Pendulum decks in Master Duel that do not spam Electrumite. So... TCG, Electrumite when????

The only kind of lock on something is on Invitare’s effect to special summon, which locks you into Vaalmonica effects on the field. The deck has literally no other locks of any kind

I don't know why Infernoble is so under rated. Yeah it loose against MaxxC like many other Decks... In a Meta where going second deck let you go first Infernoble is even scarier.

Because it is not easy to play compared to another top tier deck like Tenpai or Voiceless Voice, same issue with plant deck, a good deck with high skill ceiling

I think it was banned in TCG because of how Maxx C did not exist there for the longest time so Infernoble lines were a lot more common. But in MD, the archetype is kept in check because of how prevalent Maxx C is.

Just to inform Dkayed that every maintenance Konami updating their "Top cards" list, and Infernoble cards win rate also raise not just win rate on summon. Yes, i Also agree that Infernoble and Flame Swordsman must bes separated. No matter what they has no synergy at all, FS instead became a burden or just game closer when Infernoble has no problem to OTKing opponent after negating their life.

This Meta Weekly, imo, is one dissapointing MW, with ppl misplaying left and right, plus a bunch of toxic floodgates being used causing almost instant surrender. And if something like VV makes it to the top cut this week, you'd probably get to see even more floodgates (TCBOO or Anti-Spell). Konami really needs to do something about these cards, especially Protos

@@Phteven958 All cards don't need to be banned, but there is a big imbalance when comparing top tier decks to others. You didn't see any Blue-Eyes, Cyber Dragon/Cyberdark, Galaxy-Eyes, Ice Barrier, Raidraptor, Red-Eyes, Salamangreat, etc. That's because these can't really stand up to Yubel, Fire King Snake-Eyes, Branded, Voiceless, Tenpai, etc. consistently. I for one find it a bit boring to see the same decks always on top. I joined MD with Raidraptors when they got support. The highest I climbed in rankings was diamond and only once. As a free player, I wish these lower budget decks were good.

Tear was dominant a year ago in md maybe even longer than that ...the deck has 4 main deck monsters and 3 extra deck monsters its not that hard to beat with a bystial...i understand the other decks you mentioned but tear isnt all that bad ..the whole "tear is op" thing is really just copium because jesse won the championship with them mindju it was a format where hand traps were scattered and shared amongst teamates so he was never facing the full threat of being negated ....tear can play through alot but if it does get through the negates the end boards arent all that great ...now if it goes uninterrupted its ggs but we could say that about almost any deck tear is Mid at best its not the same master duel as 2 or 3 years ago i could name 5 to 6 decks id rather have over tear

@@johnydang23 Bro, Tear just win every deck in the game no matter what tournament without banlist happen, how tear its not op, so in this case Snake-eyes is mid too because Snake-eyes have like same amount of cards, remember Tear comes in Master Duel already in banlist with one field spell, 2 of each girls and one Kitkallos, Snake-eyes comes without banlist. Just to say if the deck have less cards to play its becomes a lot better because the deck becomes a sinergy and can be put in other decks like Snake-eyes too, so say Tear its not hard to beat just because have less cards to deal its not a good argument because you wont just use Tear or Snake-eyes in one deck.
