Bystials turning Runick from that awful stun deck into a spicy synchro deck needs to be studied. Whoever decided to merge those 2 archetypes together deserves a praise.

Joshua Schmidt created it and won YCS Bologna with that deck, making it popular. Other runick variants include Plunder Patroll Runick (some Regional tops), Naturia Runick (won Josh the WCS 2023), Ice Barrier Runick and Lightsworn Runick (newer builds and thus past Runick's prime so not much success, post SE few decks could keep up with 15 starters and 20 handtraps)
