I was in the market for a new tube amp when I came across the tonemaster deluxe. I was skeptical as there are no tubes but after playing one I was really blown away. I bought it and have Zero regrets. Great sounding amp! And not having to worry about tubes going bad is the icing on the freaking cake!

Yeah, I think a lot of people feel the same...'must have tubes' or 'must do more than one amp for the cost'. I think they're great for what they offer.

Love my Starplayer, it's the most unique and best playing instrument out of my 17 electrics.

17? You need to round up to 20 I reckon...

sounds great, mate! But hey- your fingers sound great through any amp I’ve ever heard you play through!

Great playing as always. I've never bothered looking at the Tonemaster but the sound you're getting has caught my interest. It does sound quite convincing. It also sounds very valve like on the break up. Is that computer no from a pedal or just driving the amp a bit?

Thanks Merv! I was intrigued by them and, although I love valve amps, you know I'm not a valve snob. If it sounds good and does the job, I'm interested. I wanted something light and easy to replace the Blues Junior I bought for small scale gigs. In fact, two went back faulty, which fuelled my interest in digital options again. For the vid, the guitar was straight in - no pedals - volume control pretty high - speaker off, so just studio monitors. I actually bought it for the way it sounded clean with my trusty Strat, but was really surprised how good it sounds when driven. Still love the Supro though - different things for different purposes.
