The punk sensibility as Henry described it is not in their sound but in their attitude. GnR brought hard rock to its most visceral form. There were a couple of “metal” bands in the early 80’s that were really cool, including Iron Maiden with Paul D’anno. Then everything went off the rails with hair metal and dumb thrash metal.

It's an awkward place where art is supposed to abstractly represent meaning & rising above everything in life. So the fans have been through a lot of experiences and changes while listening to your music, and they just earnestly want to let you know it meant something, that the art is alive out there. @@mirrecords but he was just a guest there to chill? Your critique would stand if it was an interview dude. Having him on to chill and share music doesnt really require the interview aspect, I get it if you want interviews but thats not what that was. He wasn't there to be interviewed.
