That's kind of funny. I had to put my trip to Jarbidge on hold. Like you said. Maybe next year. Always adventures on the back burner.

@@offroad801 That is funny. How do you get into Jarbidge? Elko, Deeth or to go in from Murphy's Hot springs? I could have spent many days there but had to meet friends in Oregon. Also it was hunting season. I was lucky to get a camp spot near Jarbidge. I did get some good pics. The rock outcroppings are quite a site as well.

@OdySlim Murphy Hot springs is the only way I know. But I've never been there before. Just have seen a few things that made me interested in that area. You could say it's on my bucket list. I really want to see the place. It sounds pretty cool 😎

Whoa 😮at 19:17 there's a flying saucer ?!! ... oh no wait, it's a street light 🤭. I thought I saw a flying triangle in the night sky, but then realised my phone screen needed a clean 🙄. Plenty of faces in the SuperMoon though...I counted 6? 🤔 I reckon you're right about not seeing anything in the sky, because the Moon was too bright 😢.
@offroad801 Жыл бұрын
I hate it when I see something. Then I look again. Oops my bad. Not what I thought. Carry on. Nothing to see here.😃 Lots of weird looking stuff on the moon. Next time I go back. It will be on a New Moon instead. Then maybe we can see something.

@@offroad801 Great idea Curtis 👌 Did you and Chantel find a great spot to view the eclipse?
@offroad801 Жыл бұрын
@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 I did, but I don't have the right camera gear for sun photography. So I made the best of it anyway. Next 📹 I did film the eclipse, but I don't think you can see it.
@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 Жыл бұрын
@@offroad801 That's a shame. I remember climbing a big hill in Wales more than 20 years ago to see the best eclipse I was ever likely to see. It was a grey day...so all that happened is that it went a bit darker, got quite a bit colder, and all the birds stopped chirping! That was it, and I'd climbed a big mountain (okay, a hill) for that! ☺️ The more recent partial eclipse was a better prospect...a bright, dry day. After my previous exertions I opted for a city centre coffee shop...next to a big Cathedral....you guessed it, the big church blocked my view 🤭 Eclipses can be awkward 😉

@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 We were lucky enough to have a total eclipse in 2017. That we were able to see close by. It was awesome. I will never forget that day. So glad you have seen one. Very special moment. I wish everyone could see 👀

Always helping them off the road. I would feel bad if I didn't. The plane was cool. I didn't even know until I was editing. Glad I caught it. I can't believe what I've learned in the last two years. Very interesting.🤔

Right before 11:20 video time maybe 11:15 to 11:23 ; I see a faint cross ✝️ in the sky on the right side. Do you see it. 👀 I almost missed it. I re watched that part 5 times saw every single time but couldn't get a screen shot of it 😮😅

Thanks Curtis... another thoroughly enjoyable video 👏👍...I'll be doing a rewatch after work, to see if I can spot anything spooky 👽🙂. Yes, the list of things that we know about these places is depressingly long and awful, but nowhere near as long as what we don't, and may never, know 😞 They sure as hell aren't doing it for the good of humanity, IMHO. The Why Files did a recent vid (titled Montauk Monster or similar) and I was shocked at the chemical and biological testing it referred to 😢😓 Does Chantel like snakes Curtis? When that critter approached the truck, I thought 'not another gift from Curt's travels?!' 😂😳
@offroad801 Жыл бұрын
Your so welcome. I hope you see something I missed. It's happened before.👀👽🤔 The list of things we don't know. The list of things they don't want us to know. I don't know witch list is longer. The more they learn. The more they cover up. We love AJ and Heckle Fish. Wow! Plumb Island sounds a lot like Dugway. Instead of water to isolate the lab we have a big desert.🤔 No i don't think my wife likes snakes.😱 So I am glad he stayed out of the truck.👍Thanks for watching.😃
@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 Жыл бұрын
@@offroad801 Haha yes...the combo of AJ and Hecklefish is an awesome one 😆 We don't really do snakes in the UK, so I have no concept of what coming across one would be like... except to say that my screams could be heard thousands of miles away in Utah...and would still be enough to make your ears bleed 😝!
@offroad801 Жыл бұрын
😂Lol! Most of our snakes are harmless. Just watch out for the ones with rattles. But try and warn me so I can plug my ears.😀
@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 Жыл бұрын
@@offroad801 Haha...will do. I might sell 'the snake scream' to Dugway as a 'sonic weapon' 😱

Camping at area 52 for 3 or more days is on bucket list. Hit me up if you have some tips or if I can hire you to get me to your spot.

Awesome! The easiest way to describe it. Is starting in Vernon, head west on the Pony Express, over the mountain past Lookout Pass, to the other side. Then there should be a sign for Dugway and the road goes straight west for about 2.5 miles then turns north. Don't turn keep going straight and your there. I just went to the little saddle on the horizon and camped just off the side of the road. Go to Google maps and enter this 40.147512 -112.715848 that will get you close.
