Go for a Jawa or a Mojo. Great pillion comfort as well as power. Duke 250 will be an overkill for occasional touring

All the x50s are mostly made for touring or long commute. (Exception being Dominar ;)) 250, 350, 650, etc. have linear power.

I dont think so however much the dukes are VFM cos they are highly unreliable and frequent repairs are required. Thus makes a hole in ur pocket. Which is also a reason I sold off my 2014 duke 390 and bought a 2018 CBR 250 R.
