UNC is one of the top universities in the country. Same standardized test scores as the other “Public Ivies” (like UVA, Michigan, Berkley, etc), top 20 law school, top 25 MBA program, top 15 Med school, etc. Located in one of the best college towns in the country with some beautiful women. People at Duke literally travel to Chapel Hill on the weekends because Durham is so want for good times.

Fun fact: The Duke mascot is actually named after a WWI French battalion who were fancy berets. Also fun fact: Duke University was named after the cigarette baron JB Duke. He essentially used his cigarette money to buy Trinity University and renamed it after himself. Although born in Durham, JB Duke did not live in North Carolina, but in New Jersey and New York. This helps explain why Duke is only popular in New Jersey while it is hated on every other place on earth. Another fun fact: After JB Duke bought his university, he wanted it to be known as an Ivy League school like the ones in New England. So the buildings were designed to look older than they really were. They used the same architecture Princeton used. The steps were purposefully made uneven as if it was worn down from ages of use. Everything about it was fake from the very beginning.
