I played this game 20 years ago at twelve yo. This deeply marked me... Ultimate ferocity, horror, disgusting and pityless world as it was our actual world. In some ways it's pretty accurate from my experience.

I played this game when it first came out. I remember me and some friends speedrunning to see who was fastest. And since using console commands to cheat was easy it had to be done in the presence of another. I usually won.

You could try running the game through DOSBox if you're trying to get the original DOS version to work. It should work on Win 10 that way. For out-of-the-box solutions I was going to say Good Old Games (gog.com) but seems that the game is no longer listed there. Steam has the "20th Anniversary World Tour" edition. It has a lot remastered features but I think you can disable most of them if you don't like them.

@@kathyzieger6207 Oh ok, I thought you were talking about Duke Nukem 3D. Did you already try different Windows compatibility mode settings for the the game? I don't know where you could buy Manhattan Project anymore especially with Win 10 compatibility. Both GOG.com and Steam no longer have it listed. I just tried the Steam version of Manhattan Project and it works on Win 10. Also according to some forum posts the GOG.com version should also be Win 10 compatible but as said both are no longer purchasable.

Eu diria q é uma versão melhorada, mais carismática! Esse episódio no espaço é sem dúvida o mais parecido com a temática do Doom, por isso q sempre foi o q eu menos gostei! Os cenários urbanos são mais originais... E eu senti falta dos Pig Cops aqui, mesmo q eu morresse de medo deles quando criança!

Duke3D has sliding doors, sectors over sectors, underwater sections, slopes, scripted earthquake and explosion effects, moving and spinning sectors, the ability to look up and down, jump, crouch, enemies weren't infinitely tall anymore like in Doom so you could jump over them, multiplayer support up to 8 players (Doom only supported 4). So no, Duke3d isn't a worse Doom version. It innovated in many aspects with the build engine.
