Duke Nukem Forever E3 1998 Original Trailer HQ (DOS/V Power Report Version)

A smooth and cleaner version of DNF 98 trailer has been found. Thanks to Marphy Black over at Duke4 discord for discovering the location of the video. This can be found in the Japanese PC Magazine's May 1999 issue of DOS/V Power Report. This version of the trailer can located in disc 2 inside the P_AND_A folder along with bunch of extra goodies and demos. Anyways enjoy the video!

Fun Fact: If I’m not mistaken, the woman with the pistol seen throughout this trailer is Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison, who was originally envisioned as Duke’s companion in Forever before going on to star in games of her own. Namely, Ion Fury, 3D Realms’ spiritual successor to Duke Nukem!

Ugh, DNF had so many chances to be an Incredible, ground-breaking masterpiece on the level of System Shock or Half-Life 2, both here and in the 2001 version. Seeing what we could’ve had…it hurts. And with the rights to Duke Nukem in the hands of that walking, talking grease trap slimeball Randy Pitchford, Duke’s probably never gonna have the chance to redeem his name…
