Best team since 2015, deepest team since 2015, one of if not the only duke team to have older transfer players who actually make a difference and by far the best defensive team since 2015, possibly the best in the country. So basically yes, the best team I’ve seen in a long long time.

Did you miss the Auburn game? That was Dukes best win of season by far. Even Arizona was a bigger win than this 1.SMU has a decent record but they've played a weak schedule with their 3 losses now coming against the best 3 teams they've played on their schedule. SMU has literally beaten nobody this season

Kon had 3 fouls (they won't let a brother play some defense at times, they gave 10 more FT's) so therefore only got 20 mins of game time and 14 personal points, but still easily generated a total of 20pts for the team. 5:16, added power in the ball, chef'ing it up (more chef'ery 6:26, and 8:02 Foster just lets Kon part the sea for him to run to the easy layup).

Scheyer is a great coach and so is Carrawell. Putting the team together is 70 percent of the job, teaching is 20 percent, subbing the right players at the right times during game is about 10 percent of it.

​I have to disagree with those percentages. Scheyer is a great recruiter but he doesn't do a good job of getting these kids ready. He's young and I continue to hope that he grows as a coach. With are talent level we should be able to get past the second round of the tournament (without the other team's star player getting hurt).

And its important to remember that Carraway and Scheyer have been working together for such a long time that Carraway is almost an extension of Scheyer. I don't think the outcome would have been any different today no matter the coach

​@@Th3M3th0d99 You make good points but Carawell is actually the older more experienced coach so I'm not sure he is almost an extension of Scheyer. But even after a much better start today we still let SMU back into it. The kids are young. It could just be them not used to just dominating like in highschool. I am very grateful for the veterans and it seems that coach Scheyer has used the transfer portal to add some much needed toughness. The last two NCAA tournaments have seen us fall to more physical teams. Maybe this year will be different

Yeah its old, actually I was sick of hearing about Cooper before the season even started, every game it's Cooper this and Cooper that all game long. I'm sure his teammates are sick of it too. It's not Coopers fault they talk about him non stop though so I'm sure his teammates understand that as well. I'm a life-long Duke fan, been watching Duke for 41 years now and I can't recall another player being talked about so much. ✌️
