I'm rediscovering Eliot, thanks to the brilliant exposition of Professor Strandberg. He's the best teacher I've come across on KZbin.

This is a brilliant lecture series, which has helped tremendously with my university studies of The Waste Land.

Please, where can I find the file that is mentioned as included in the lectures?

daniela vecchia you mean the poem?

@@SomeKindOfThing At roughly 22:18, Professor Strandberg refers to a file that is included with the course; however, I haven't been able to source it either. The Duke University website does not have any reference to it and merely refers one to this KZbin lecture series.

@@TheRealGranted I can't find it as well. Does anyone know?
Judging by the look, is this the point where the prof becomes a cult leader?

No. He's just a brilliant teacher, so difficult to find in these days of fancy intellectual footwork.

Speed to 1.25 for better listening--Victor's a bit slow as a speaker.

I'll stick to the deliberate, gravely voice, choosing his words with great care. 👍🏻

It's like reading great literature. Some books you just cannot scan down the page. Some are written to be read slowly and deliberately, perhaps even pausing for a moment at the end of a sentence. (I suggest you pause before responding.)

Although, if you don't already know all that, what the hell are you studying Eliot for?
