Well it HAS BEEN about 10 years! I finally find you in a video where my daughters live! However I live in Puerto Rico and my husband has planted 79 “ guineos mansanos”. THOSE APPLE BANANAS! My favorite. They also have ones that grow here , in PR, with a red outer peel.( we don’t have that kind; only the yellow ones…) Thank you so much for this recipe!
