As much as I love all 3 girls, and yes Pau is my fav, Ale stole the show here. Metal goddess in the making, 5 string, the moves, the attitude.. This gal is coming out of her shell, and ya'll better stand back or risk gettn a Doc Martin on the chops!

Best 3 minutes in Rock! BTW, Ale's bass here is a loner to get used to playing a 5 string. She now has her new custom signature Spector 5 string, and it is GORGEOUS! They did this video for (De)Tour, a 12 hour stream of live music to benefit small venues during Covid. The whole stream chat was blowing up about The Warning. Lzzy Hale jumped into the chat to say how much she liked them and that she wanted to tour with them when Covid is over!

This song is their masterpiece. Its a perfectly crafted rock song. Every note, every chord, every drum strike is as it should be. It is simply perfect. Attempts were made by producers to lengthen the song, but the band rejected those “suggestions” whole sale. Trust me when I say, what the producers tried to do to this song was criminal. I look forward to Dany Pau and Ale trying to top this song, for many years to come. 🤘🏻❤️⚠️

Its interesting to me how you guys gravitate to their gear. Not being a musician myself, I appreciate the final product, while overlooking the ingredients at times. From a very early age (band wise, not member wise), they were fortunate enough to have some very good gear, mostly because of the generosity of fans. The amount of support these three have received is not measurable, and in return the band is fiercely loyal to the fan base. There is no limit to their acts of kindness, in meaningful ways towards us. Whether its notes of encouragement or condolences, or simply remembering your name and giving you smile. These young women are great human beings first and foremost.

Pau gave a tour of her setup one time. The drum setup is a duplicate of the one they were taking on the North American tour this year, now postponed into next year. The connections have some kind of presets that Pau said allow the whole thing to be set up properly in 15 minutes. This is important because Pau is only about 5 feet tall and has to have the kit packed close around her so she can reach everything. Also, she hits pretty hard so cheap loose racks wouldn’t last very long. She rubs Ableton on the laptop to control click track, background tracks and visuals, as well as the presets on Dany’s pedalboard.
@roywall81693 жыл бұрын
@@markjames8664 yep. Since that rundown she gave, they have moved away from the laptop, and integrated Ableton into a strike pad, making the whole process less complicated for Pau.

@@roywall8169 I had initially thought that the five-string custom would end up being the Ale Villarreal Signature bass.
@roywall81693 жыл бұрын
@@iNsTaNtpUdDiNhEaD It would seem that Spector is not after the high end market with her signature guitar, but are targeting the younger beginning musicians. Just a theory.
@markbell49823 жыл бұрын
@@roywall8169 and a good theory. Also a good marketing idea imo. Ale inspiring young girls to tale up the bass. I think going after that crowd is a good business move..
@markjames86643 жыл бұрын
@@markbell4982 Yes. It’s a lot smarter to try to expand the market rather than just compete in the existing one. I think someone from Spector had this idea from the start of sponsoring Ale. (side note, she’s no longer the first artist in the featured list because they now have someone named Aaron!)

You guys are now among my favorite reactors. A lot of fun, but really positive and with a musician’s appreciation of the time and effort The Warning put forth in everything they do. With regard to their equipment and setup, 2 important points: they were a unique independent band these last few years because more and more fans were willing to give generously...and as their income increased, the band didn’t just pocket the money, they reinvested a LOT, as you guys can see. Also, huge credit goes to their father, a brilliant guy behind the scenes who’s always thinking about ways to help his daughters improve the show. That multi-camera setup in this video? That was all him.

You guys are right.. they do have a bunch of money tied up in their setup, but with being a 3 piece, it's pretty much needed to help automate some of the stuff that helps get them that huge sound. They're great even without all the crazy extras (check out some of their 'acoustic' performances), but they've already been through that period of edgy equipment that works when it feels like it. So they try to stick with tried and true methods and equipment. That Mac laptop really has it's work cut out for it, since it has to handle the sequencer, click track, MIDI triggers for Dany's Line 6, and triggers and paging for the background graphics screen (when they use it), and probably a bunch more that I missed.🤣 Y'all like that bomber jacket? You should see the outfit Ale had on Sunday for the Spector photoshoot!!😮😍 They're about to finish up with their 3rd album release in NY, so that should be hitting the market hopefully, before the end of this month. I can hardly wait to see what they come up with, since I helped fund them on the Kickstarter campaign back around the beginning of the year before all the pandemic crap. We need a lot more people out there like these gals.😉 🤘😎🤘

They have a awesome stage presence no matter where they play! You really see it when they did their QUARANTINE OFFICIAL SHOW in march. That bass that Ale is playing here is just a loner froma fan. She just received her new custom 5 string spector bass at the start of recording of the 3rd album. Dany also got a new spearfish from Rick Toone as well. This was right after they signed with Lava/republic records, there is another version of this which is excitedly introduced by Jason Flom Of Lava. BUT here is another great performance by them at a TV station in mexico. The song is Sinister Smiles kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJfaoGRvlrt_hac great reaction thanks cioa for now
