One thing yall don’t realise is that vocal chords are also an instrument. And it is limited by your physical abilities. You cannot just add an extra vocal cord to it or smth. The more limited your instrument is the more creative you have to be to capture attention and be interesting. “Just put lyrics on top” does not mention all the years of listening to different music and shaping your melodic vocabulary. To me, TOOL is like four artists painting masterpieces - in sync with each other - that somehow come together and make a greater masterpiece when the works are combined. I think that is the Brilliance of Danny and the other members of the band. Danny created his own piece vs a studio musician that plays exactly what was written extremely well.

Mental health problems are exactly that... Mental.. problems of the mind which is usually caused by ego.. Using for introspection and learning who we truly are changes everything. Ibogaine is the most effective as it chronologically bring you through your traumatic experiences and you have your emotional response which Ultimately makes you Face your Fears.... unfortunately many of us don't even have a clue as to our deep fears as they've been buried.. If we were taught how to manage feelings and mindful of ego the world would be very different.... Everything we grow up in just feeds that ego... and what you feed...grows.

Preferably open cans too. Closed just neuters the stage for this band.

Danny’s definitely on my Mount Rushmore of drummers. He’s uses a lot of electronics, including a Korg Wavedrum (What was making that Tabla sound), the Mandala pads (The pads are all around him, which he co-designed), a Roland Handsonic (The circle looking pad with different zones, by his stack of modules), and that big Marimba looking thing behind him, is called a Marimba Lumina, but I believe he only uses it in one song, which is Invincible. He studied a lot of Tabla with Aloke Dutta. From what I’ve read, Danny’s takes drumming, very spiritually. Neil Peart, John Bonham, and many others, were big influences on Danny. Imo, he’s the best living drummer today, now that Neil Peart is now with us anymore. But, that’s just my opinion. The whole Fear Inoculum album is really just a Danny drum solo, lol.

Danny is one of the most talented and entertaining drummers of all time.. Easily one of the best we’ve ever seen.🙏

Seeing as how you mentioned led Zeppelin you should listen to tools cover of no quarter. The original is amazing but what tool did was one of the best single track musical experiences possible.

The instrument he has programmed to sound like the tabla is a Korg Wd-1 wave drum, his pads are Mandela pads they have 128 strike points arranged in 7 concentric circles and has 2 synthesizers he uses to program and tune the drums to whatever he wants. The huge curved keyboard is a Marimba Lumina, it uses the keys to define the strike zones and are played with special color coded mallets as normal mallets won't work. Danny easily makes the top 5 all time greatest drummers. Enjoyed your reaction and insight, subbed to see what comes next. ✌🤘

@@OhioOwns , yeah, most drummers kits don't cost that much lol. But I bet the wave drums cost, makes up a tiny portion of the total cost of his kit and the toys that go with it.✌
@OhioOwns4 жыл бұрын
@@jeffmatthews6672 lol exactly, 500-600$ for one little drum haha insane but yeah I think he said at one point he calculated that he had about 42,000$ in his kit, or something like that wasn't it? and that was 4 or 5 years ago lol I've seen him using new stuff since then so it's probably gone up even more. so glad he did spend that much though, he can make some sounds on that kit that I didn't even know existed haha
