Negros Island is now a separate region. Neg Occ used to be in R6 Western Visayas and Neg Or in R7 Central Visayas. Neg Occ is the province with the most cities, 12 in all, thanks to the sugar industry.

Actually there are 13 cities and soon to be 14 with Hinigaran showing unprecedented developments....here are the 13 cities..San Carlos,Escalante,Sagay,Cadiz,Victorias,Silay,Talisay,Bacolod,Bago,La Carlota,Himamaylan,Kabankalan and Sipalay

I am not originally from Bacoor. My wife is and we settled there. I was born in Iloilo City father side and lived there , also in San Jose, Antique mother side and Bacolod from 1972 to 1977 when we moved to Manila. I speak Hiligaynon, Kiniray-a, Filipino and English.

Ang comments ko lng bakit mo tinatanong ang nagbebenta ng suman“ how do you call this” manong ? Bisaya yan sila wag mong inglisin marunong ka namang mag tagalog or bisaya or whatever.
