Love that the joint you find says "derived from leaves of the coca plant" so it's essentially a cocain cigarette

This was definitely a game. But at least the fountain is still working at age 70.

He is clearly not stupid tho. It’s not easy task to complete a video game, he had to learn coding, write a script, find right assets etc. You will never know until you try to undertake something like this. His only mistake was not hiring someone with good English or even using something like chatgpt or grammarly to fix the dialogue. If he did though, we wouldn’t get this gem lol.
@rodrigozanabria2978Ай бұрын
@@hwacha4911 the story was all over the place. What about the random items you can find as 'evidence'? They're more like collectibles than anything else. The fact you can't interrogate the suspects or press them harder. There were a lot of mistakes

@@hwacha4911 Game sucks ass, it's barely even a game, just a bunch of unity assets slapped together and a "story" written by a lunatic kid on speed

For me the cherry on top of "Age 70 but fountain works" was the response "dedective..."

The fact the Sheriff was even an option was enough to make it obvious. What a game.

The characters all seem to want to play semantic games but the writing is so incomprehensible that you wouldn’t understand even if they were speaking plainly. Truly one of the games of all time.
@bitofalice6 ай бұрын
holy shit, apparently the dev has removed all voice acting and subtitles from the game and is "working on replacing it" but man, I wish I could play THIS version for myself... This is killing me!

The AI voices are hilarious with the broken dialogue. But the facial animations are pretty good. Rose just makes this face right here 5:21
@phantomwarrior86868 ай бұрын
What? These animations are janky and uncanny af It's never a great animation, what game you're looking at lol
@phantomwarrior86868 ай бұрын
The people who developed this game clearly didn't know how to use these AI assisted tools to make the facial expressions, the scripts, and the translation, and ended up with this mess of a game. They trusted into them way too much.

“The deceased professor” “murdered for an unknown reason” huh, I bet the murder weapon was the poison for James, the poison specifically chosen to kill James, James’ poison. It’s a bad sign when the first sentence is that rambling, and worded so unclearly that it makes me think a ghost went on a business trip.

The fact that the guilty guy has only one piece of solid evidence and no dialogue options pertaining to the crime scene really goes to show how much effort they put into this game.

had this playing in the background while playing chess and the dialogue from 16:20 to 16:33 made me do a mental double-take. both the most braindead dialogue & so-artarded it's like mildly genius
