I still remember reading about the lawsuit Universal Pictures filed against Nintendo because they thought that the character Donkey Kong was infringing on copyright for King Kong. Trouble is, Universal had forgotten that King Kong had entered the public domain by this point; they ultimately lost the case. Funnily enough, the lawyer who defended Nintendo was called Jack Kirby.

I got hit in the eye w/ a plastic bottle which caused several deep cuts (like compared to the thickness of the skin around my eye and on my eyelid) which 1) could have made me blind and 2) could have required plastic surgery so that there wasn't giant scars on my face (they are actually pretty small now) and it was all because the teachers don't watch the students properly so they were skipping class while I was outside while my class was doing PE. But I didn't sue them because then the person that actually hit me with the bottle would get in trouble and I know it was only an accident

I am a mythical beast. I devote my life to them, and I will never regret that. First time I watched them was a accident, i noticed a video saying best cartoon characters ever i decided to watch it because i loved cartoons (o was 12) i know I watched it when it was published because there was no episodes that were newer the ome i watched. I watched older episodes and instantly fell in love with RHETT and link. from 29 June 2012 until now and forever , my heart will beat for them. they never leave my mind, my heart, or my dreams. no matter how old I get to be I will never forget those two guys from the internet. without fail, they always seem to put a smile on my face and a beat in my chest even when I'm not feeling the greatest. there's times where I want to give up on the world. Rhett and Link are there, smiling at me though my screen every step of the way, reminding me it will be alright. I have never felt such a close connection to two people in my life. whenever they pop into my head at any given time I will grin or even laugh a little, for they are the sunshine to all of my cloudy days. I will mourn the day that Rhett and Link come to an end, when they shut off their cameras one last time. if ever I feel myself slipping away from them, I will re-watch every single video they have made just to remind myself why I fell in love with the two dummies in the first place. some people say they're just idiots on the internet, but I think otherwise. they're great people, unique and different and not afraid to be themselves. they love their wives and children to death and would basically do anything for the crew. and although they have stated multiple times that they are, in fact, not married to one another (I feel like that's a fandom inside joke, no?) they love every single inch of each other and have an inseparable bond that I have never seen. they ride together, they die together. with this brotherly bond comes a comedic duo like none other, closer than literal brothers themselves. they love each other and they love us, because without us they wouldn't have been able to explore this wonderful place we like to call the mythical beast fandom.
