He's a pretty lowkey person in general but if I had to give a reason it's because he's not that ambitious. His last album came out almost 4 years ago and he has barely done anything since.

His music is good, and I dont know him personally, but my guess is that he's not that ambitious. He just settles with moderate fame. Like someone else said, there was a huge gap in between albums, if he's taking that kind of gap with such little fame, relatively speaking, then imagine the gaps he would take if he were to "make it big". I hope it changes, I hope he becomes more ambitious with pushing out his music because its dope af, but thats his call. Im sure there are other factors, probably hard to make it big as an Asian rapper in LA, look at Anderson Paak, he's talented but being half black sure as hell helped him.

Funny thing is, in reality, you'll never see a Korean talk ghetto like that to an elder first generation Korean.
