Someone on another channel tried making a one using transistors. Using a scope he supposedly came close enough. I never knew that the name of a product could cause a strike. News to me.

Never understood the hype about Dumble amps. For me just a failed effort, to make a Fender amp sounding like a Marshall, but the result only had been dispensable supermarket background music tones, which neither rock, nor roll, only sound boring and kitschy. Same here. Not my world, sorry!

Listen to the album "Talk To Your Daughter" by Robben Ford. Granted, it's the Carpenter not his tools, but the sounds on this record are great.
