(The drake would aggro and fly inside the bridge, then die. Later they added some rooftops to block the arrows.)

Never in my life have I seen a bigger fall from grace. He went from beating Iron golem with a broken UNUPGRADED longsword, to facetanking everything and having no consideration for anything other than *Bonk*. As much as it was painful to watch before, Mcconnell was absolutely right when he realised he ruined the run by guiding him to the Zweihander - though I suppose he more than likely wouldn't have finished the run without the reliability of just using one button to play the game

He dosent bother to learn the bosses moves and read items to know what to do or use. @@StartingAura008 currently going through the elden ring series and it’s plagued by the same curse 🤣 found weapon he liked early on, never read a single item, and spam attack to win. though he does occasionally use his head and puts on display some expert like dancing with the boss… just to completely regress and brute force his way through, using no buffs/summons, as is asmongold’s very nature. it’s kind of a power move and quite charming after a while and when you stop caring so much about him getting certain things because he’s doing it entirely to himself lol

Here is the thing : beating dark soul isnt about finishing the game but knowing that going throught catacombs before tolling the bell will allow you to be the best paladin, its knowing that quelag sister will grant you the best pyromancie, its knwowing how to properly build a SL 120 caracter, it's knowing how to save the oignon knight and later meet his daughter, it's choosing to save or let the firekeeper die because of lotric, its knowing that Gwenvere is an illusion and that gwendoline that is real, lie behind an illuionary wall, its knowing where to find the ancient dragon covenant, its finishing the game knowing that both kaathe and Franpt are plotters and just play with you, it's understanding how mechanics works.

Hearing McCuck cry about chat is the most “man with no principles tries to shame anyone for anything” moment in gaming. You don’t get to cry when you acutely lie to him. Being told where to take his feet so he can be in a different area, does not mean chat sat there and found out everything for him. Does it matter if he chat was like “hey yeah just lay down so the raven takes you back” when he still has to clear that entire area on his own? Does chat sit there and fight the boss for him? Did chat tell him how to beat any boss? Did they tell him about elemental damage and buffs and spells and a million other gimmicks that you could actually consider hand holding? He allocated his points 90% on his own, only in the very beginning did he even entertain their suggestions Never have I ever thought being told to go left instead of right was hand holding. They didn’t solve puzzles for him, they did tell him what armor to wear or why, he found it and decided on his own. McCuck told him wear to find his weapon, exactly where to get it, yet no one cries about that. The singular most egregious example of handholding in the entire play through. I know this is old but I think it was because at the time Asmon wasn’t like watching newbie play Dark Souls it was like watching a newborn try and understand Dark Souls. Basic stuff like using your souls when you have them instead of immediately walking farther into the next zone. Or killing enemies and making sure they have loot, timing in combat, kindling bonfires etc… he did all of these things way below average.

Mr.Green Pong High poise is cheating. Asmon didn’t even find zweihander. McConnell told him where it was, so Asmon wouldn’t quit at sens fortress. His bitchass was ready to quit. He didn’t read any gear. He didn’t loot. He deserved every death and should’ve been made fun of, and trolled more. When he was killing bosses. “The game is so easy” When navigating through Blightown and Sens. “This game is so dumb, why am I doing this?”. He constantly said don’t help me, then looked at chat whenever he was stuck. He definitely googled some shit offstream as well. Which is fine if you’re honest about it, he wasn’t. The only thing that save this stream is the failure. Is the trolling by McCool and the chat. Other than that, it’s pure cringe.
